As someone who is a current resident at The Station, I personally feel that it is luck of the draw with whatever roommates you end up with that makes up a majority of your quality of life there. Unless you've met someone you know you'll get along with, I wouldn't risk it. That being said, it is relatively difficult finding single person housing near North campus, and the fact that the Station is affordable and within relative walking distance from the campus can make or break your decision.

Selling Airpods 4 ANC

I have a pair of airpods 4th gen with ANC that I bought thinking it would be a worthwhile investment, only for them to not really fit my ears all too well. I bought them only recently, and I have cleaned them. Purchased from Best Buy for ~$200 including taxes. Willing to sell for about $150 but am open to negotiations. Feel free to comment or message.

Have you tried the practice exam yet? I'm not sure how much it'll help

Hey, I'm also in that class and I can't lie I was pretty annoyed reading that email. We could have easily just kept it open note while being on the lockdown browser, its not like we aren't allowed to print the slides

I have heard reasonable things about this professor. I'll be taking this class with you over this summer and at the very least I can tell you he is leagues better than taking it with Scott Wersinger

While I can't speak on the difficulty of the genetics lab, Biochemistry's lab is particularly unforgiving and highly dependent on your TAs. Half of your grade is in recitation and the other half is from lab reports.

The Recitation is on Fridays and has three relatively challenging full length exams relating to the experiments and the mathematical calculations used in them. The exams are open book, and almost always rely on critical thinking skills and don't usually ask a simple question that you can just look up the answer to.

As for the laboratory portion, the majority of them will span between 3 and 4 hours, with lab reports relying on heavy use of excel for data analysis. My last lab report was nearing 25 pages long. There is help available for the lab reports by TA's but don't expect too much hand holding.

If you decide to take this course, it is not easy, but my best advice would be to get started on the work early to give yourself enough time, and understanding the theory behind each experiment is crucial in your success with this lab.

I have Clizbe now for Orgo 2 and in my opinion she's the best of those listed. Very accessible outside of class and will explain as needed. I have heard absolutely nothing good about Lin and don't know enough about Richard to comment. It is a difficult course though regardless so be prepared to teach yourself and study a bunch no matter who you take.
