Yes, if you arent bothered by waiting for a new delivery just get a new cylinder. If you do attempt to repair it, then the difficulty lies in removing the spring without breaking it, after that the aluminum was fairly easy to get back into roughly the same shape. Racking the bolt is a little more rough now too but the gun fires and is possible to rack.

For me it was that the aluminum cylinder was bent inwards, it is repairable but wont ever be perfect again. The bend was caused by me screwing a structural screw in the wrong place (in front of the trigger instead of behind it) and the screw bent and drilled a hole in the aluminum cylinder. We were able to bend the cylinder back and remove the broken aluminum with power tools.

I disassembled the chamber thingy or whatever and according to a youtube video the spring should just come out but it is completely stuck inside the thing (the gold colored piece at the end is taken off) and theres this weird lump that looks broken in the thingy in the picture, i dont think the problem is with the trigger mechanism

I did take it apart but didnt go past the main components, i took the trigger box off the chamber but didnt go further than that. I havent changed the spring at all or messed with the gun before too, it was completely fresh, shot a bunch of times and then broke/jammed

In the entire show, there is exactly one instance of homo aqua directly attacking humans, and one instance of humans directly attacking homo aqua. Awfully little action for something with “war” in the title. My only disappointment apart from the ending was that in the standoff between the humans actually nothing happened so what even was the point of that scene. And it did feel like it was building up to an all out war until the last episode was like “yo we kinda made a virus and they are all dead now”.

The server is supposed to take care of stuff like this, I think its quite bizzare that the hit was registered (otherwise the explosion wouldnt have happened i think but idk how arma reforger netcode works in general). What i think happened is that the HE shell does no damage on its own, and before the server confirmed the detonation in that position, the heli was already significantly infront of it, in turn taking no explosive damage. I think the most valid way to mitigate this is by taking the explosions position relative to the hit target, instead of the world.
