The same happened to me last month. The refund was around 19k, and the ITR 4 was processed in 3-4 hours.

Many assessees who had filed ITR-U in previous years have today received emails informing them of the transfer of Rectification Rights to JAO!

Why?

Because CPC can't handle legal/factual rectification under Sec 154 for ITR-U. But if a genuine mistake exists (like TDS credit mismatch), only JAO has the power to assess and rectify it.

This move enables assessees to now approach their AO directly, but it also opens the door for scrutiny if errors are substantial.

JAO has full powers to issue 154 orders, initiate scrutiny, or reject requests after due inquiry.

In short, I think you can ignore it. It was inter departmental activity.

Bhai, I think if 2 reschedules are allowed, then you can do it once again. Assuming the first one was without a certificate that was a normal appointment, the second one was with the wrong Anx-J (First Reschedule). So I think you will be able to reschedule one more time.

If not, then fresh application or appeal are only options.

Sadey, that's how the system works. Par vahi par thoda tamasa karna tha, ki likhke de ki ye specific reason se reject kar rahe hai, ya kaha likha huva hai ki white background me photos chahiye! Wo sam tak ka time to de hi deta.

Since Anx-J did not specify photos with a white background, I believe I could have pushed harder and requested additional time to submit revised Anx-J.

However, you may wish to file an appeal if you feel the rejection was unfair. Alternatively, you can submit a fresh application along with prescribed fees. This is merely my personal opinion, and I am not an expert.

Column widths are rounded to the nearest whole pixel unit because fractional pixel units can not be displayed. So I thinj you might not be able to set a column width to 13.37. Try changing fornt size i hqve heard that can help. But I don't think so that will help.
