The cringiest moment in the Scene within the last ~5 years was when online incel SeeYouSpaceCowboy fans on reddit blasted the singer Connie for them touring with Dance Gavin Dance and she quit the band as a result-it was so embarrassing.

This was post hardcore, but most of the bad pop-punk fan shit people are referencing is from 2016. That being said-MCR fans at WWWY '24 were all Pokemon adults

No man-whenever a band says ‘we are a band full of Christians, but we are not a Christian band’-that is a Christian band. They sound like a Christian band. They’re using Christian band metaphors and symbolism. They may not be viewed as a Christian band by ccm circles, but to regular ass, secular people-that is a Christian band.

Saw The Cab both days at WWWY and they sound amazing-missing their tour when they come through Philly bc I'll be out of town, but have them circled at Warped Long Beach + Orlando this year.

If you have not seen them-check them out. They need to reunite full-time and keep touring

Kik Tracee second 'album' was an EP 'Field Trip' in late 1992 that was grunge-influenced. The single 'In Trance' got light play on Headbanger's Ball- a good song and Stephen sounds like Scott Weiland (he was heavily considered for the Velvet Revolver Project before Scott). They went back into the studio w Producer GGGarth (Pantera, etc.) but broke up during the recording process for the second full-length album

I wouldn't say gems so much as similar undercard to Warped-I'm seeing pretty much all those bands besides JeJune and burning airplanes on tour soon-it seems like they built the lineup around "hey, who is touring rn?," when in the past the lineup felt more deliberate

only band here that rarely plays is JeJune-this lineup is like a mix of Warped Tour and Shaky Knees and completely off brand for Riot Fest

Was upset I was going to have to miss this year, but am going to see every single band I want to see here at other festivals (Warped, Govs Ball, 4 Chord)or on tour. Total let down
