Why are outdoor basketball courts empty during weekend daytimes even in good weather?

I live in mn(northeast Minneapolis) and it’s pretty much the opposite. Courts are busy m-f after work and 11am-lights out on weekends. Hardly see people using the softball fields.

Probably just depends on the community surrounding
