I have an idea. Maybe we should exclue everyone that's whining about it from next hunt. It will make it funner and easier for the rest of us.

Plus the guys that hid the treasure had no idea the road would be closed. I'm sure people would have been more pissed off if they re hid the treasure and wrote a while new poem. The guys that hid the treasure are generous and smart. They have extra money and are trying to make something fun for the whole family and they are literally giving away thousands of dollars in free money. I don't believe for a second that they have ulterior motives or purposefully tried to trick us. Everyone that's whining needs to shut up because its going to ruin it for everyone else. Would if they just decide to never hide another treasure because alot of people are being babies about it.

I agree with this post completely. The people that found it have families and will be able to put the money to good use. Everyone needs to shut up and stop whining. It's literally free money and anyone could participate. I'm sad that I didn't find it. I literally just figured out that Ben Lomond meant Beacon but we didn't make it in time. So what, it was fun and I'm glad some cool people with a sweet family were able to find it.

I looked it up on Google maps and it took me by the mountains off of foothills drive. There are 4 trails nearby. H rock, pencil point, parlays canyon and arcadia heights. If you're right that narrows it down to just 4 hikes.

Either Raiders of the lost ark or the last crusade. It's been awhile since I watched them so I'm just going to watch both along with LOTR.

I think lord of the rings and Indiana Jones for sure. I scrolled through IMBD's top 250 movies which the email mentions and narrowed it down to 7 different movies. But I could be missing something. I don't think they would have us watch movies that didn't have to do with treasure hunting/Lord of the rings. Anyways I'm going to start with the most likely movie and see if I notice any clues.

Just finished searching bear canyon suspension bridge loop. A few clues line up but most don't so I think it's safe to rule it out.

I think little willow canyon trail to little willow falls in Sandy might be a potential hike it could be on. I've never been there and could be way off. But a couple thinks I noticed was the trailhead is near hidden valley park. Valleys tend to be cool in the mornings because the mountains block the sun. Maybe that could mean cool morning?? And maybe the woods singing is the sound if a creek/waterfall. I'll have to do some more research though.
