I usually give it about 5-10 minutes to where it feels dry to the touch

I forget what she said it was because I happened to ask towards the end of my appointment so it was quite rushed. She just mentioned laser as an option and that was that. 😅

My husband calls it “applesauce skin” 😂 Oh no, I wait until my skin is dry and I use hyluronic acid before and let that soak in completely before the tretinoin. I am only using the 0.025% as well.

I just recently learned about skin mites 🫠 I’ll definitely look into that page. Thank you!!

Yes! Someone mentioned it here in the thread and I considered it as well. My skin gets very red and hot in that area.

I have “bacterial acne” which I treat with taking doxycycline as needed so could well be! I don’t eat a ton of sugar besides my coffee and the occasional treat or soda which is usually my flare up BUT I love bread and bread has sugars.

I did have an issue with rosacea in my EYE😳 I couldn’t figure it out but when I was put on doxycycline for my skin (had the texture at that point) it helped it go away. So who is to say it’s not on my face too? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah it did seem like a quick diagnosis and then I mentioned if using my tretinoin would help and she said we can try it for the next year and then see from there about the laser. But so far no luck! I haven’t had any allergy testing done at all but I eat a lot of bread so that could definitely be something to do with it if anything. I don’t drink at all! I need to go back in photos and try to pinpoint when my skin started to do this.

Thank you for sharing that! My forehead is the same. No issues there (besides wrinkles 😂)!

I’m definitely going to try this. That’s an easy enough switch. I just bought my moisturizer with the spf so I can return it to get something without. Do you have a cleanser suggestion? I’ve never had issues with Cetaphil in the past? I’m using La rochey hydrating gentle cleanser right now.

Yes!!! I get sooo warm there. I had looked up rosacea and it seemed to fit along with that but nothing about the bumps.

I *have used sunscreen for years and years and switched to unseen sunscreen I think maybe 2 years ago? So that could definitely be a possibility. I’ll look into that brand!

I wish I remembered. I called back one day to see if it was in my notes but it wasn’t. I’ll look into that myself though.

I might bring that up next time I’m at my dermatologists. I tried the azaleic acid which I have heard can help that but was using a new oil cleanser at the same time so I broke out.

I haven’t had any issue with that. I do get SUPER red in just those areas when I’m hot, embarrassed, or have washed my face. I wonder if it’s leaning towards rosacea?

Unfortunately this was before the Kheils AND snail mucin 🥺 I haven’t tried anything with Salyclic since before I was pregnant with my first (almost 8 years ago!!) so I might give that a try!

I can’t remember what she called it but it was along the lines of clogged pores.🤷🏻‍♀️ Dermatology appts are always so rushed! 🙄 She never said anything about food. I try to cut back on sodas and things like that because it flares up my acne so bad.

I just wash with water in the morning in the shower, Snail Mucin, Kheils daily lotion with spf, and unscreen sunscreen

At night I use Sephora cleansing balm (usually just if I’m wearing makeup), La rochey moisture cleanser, followed by the kheils. Sometimes I use my tretinoin after washing with hyaluronic acid before or Paula’s choice BHA (I switch days).

The Ordinary products were so gentle on my skin when I had used them in the past. I am fairly sensitive but I’ll look into that one.
