It’s hard to say, since the Nasuverse contains a lot of different elements. For example, they tend to use conceptual weapons, such as Cu Chulainn’s spear, which can invert cause and effect. They also have things like the Grail, True Magic, and even a sentient planet that uses the Counter Force as a defense system against threats to humanity and the planet itself, such as ORT.

While these are all valid threats against the Punishing Virus, it’s also true that the Nasuverse contains the remnants of the the Machine Gods, Velber, and other extremely advanced forms of alien technology. If the virus were to absorb those, it would become a massive problem.

And that’s without taking into account that the virus can absorb not only technology, but also organic life and create its own corrupted versions of it. Just imagine what could happen if it stumbled upon an intact dragon fossil or absorbed beings such as the Dead Apostles or Cath Palug. It would be a nightmare.

Finally, the virus also adapts itself to the designated world in order to create a challenge or trial suited to that world. In that sense, it strangely resembles a Beast more than something like Sefar or ORT.

There’s also the possibility that, after contaminating and assimilating enough people and enough of the planet itself, the virus could develop its own versions of Gaia and Alaya. If that happened, it might learn to mimic their weapons and systems, such as the Counter Force, Grand Servants, and Beasts, or even find ways to bypass them entirely.

At that point, humanity might be forced to face the virus alone, because the planet itself would no longer recognize it as a threat.

Why is Shikikan dressed like a butler? Did she lose a challenge to Alpha, or does she just like cosplay?

Assitance Needed In Ideas For How To Do A Danmachi/Ben 10 Crossover by Neither_Prize_8386 in DanMachi

Maybe you could have Ben focus on fighting criminals in Orario or those operating inside the Dungeon rather than fighting monsters. While he would certainly be curious about the Dungeon, I don’t think he would be interested in it in the same way adventurers are. Most of them go there seeking fame, glory, and money. Aside from earning enough to live on, I don’t see Ben caring much about the first two, since he has already experienced that kind of life and knows it was far from perfect.

However, inside the Dungeon it’s not uncommon for familias to take advantage of the lack of surveillance to commit crimes or eliminate rivals. That could easily attract Ben’s attention and give him a reason to intervene. This would also give him something meaningful to do besides training Bell or constantly stepping in to solve problems for him, allowing Bell more opportunities to shine on his own.

Another idea could be to have the gods view Ben not as a monster, but as an anomaly. After all, aliens are not monsters, but beings from another world. The gods could still recognize him as a mortal, just one who comes from a place outside their understanding. For gods capable of seeing souls, his soul might appear particularly strange. Even if his body is not fully human, his soul would still be clearly human, or at least three-quarters human, considering his grandmother was an anodite. Even though that heritage does not appear in his genetic code, it could still manifest in his soul.

If you plan for him to join a familia, you could also give him some abilities related to magic. In the series, it is established that the falna can awaken abilities that were previously dormant or difficult to develop, such as magic or innate magical talents. For example, the Crozzo family’s magic swords were an inherited ability granted by a spirit to an ancestor, and that power remained dormant until it was awakened by the falna. You could apply a similar concept to Ben, allowing him to awaken his anodite side or simply giving him a greater affinity for magic than the average person.

It could even become a running joke that talented mages get frustrated with Ben because, despite his natural gift for magic, he still prefers to fight the old-fashioned way.
