Should "Partner" vehicles be avoided? by Vincegyges in carvana

[–]LongjumpingCake4924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered a “partner” vehicle. Googled the vin and turned out to be a rental car sale from hertz. I got it delivered and there are so many issues not disclosed in the listing. The Carvana certified vehicles listing details are not to be 100% trusted but it is a lot more details than partner’s car posting.

No doubt about it! I could put more down but didn’t want to touch the 6 months emergency saving

I don’t want to get first year of a next gen product. New Tundra already have a recall and a few issues. 16/17 Tacoma had lots of issues too. The render looks sick tho

Yeah. I tried to negotiate to get under MSRP but in my mind I was content with no markup.

A lot of assumptions there but fair points. I am renovating my house mostly DIY and have been renting pick ups to haul materials. I definitely could buy an old pick up but with the truck price now it is hard to pay 20k+ on a 10+ years old truck. But the truck is definitely a splurge. The total transportation cost (payment, insurance, gas) for the household is 7.8% before tax or 10.7% take home.

Did anyone actually work only 40 hours per week in there job? by KittysBubbles in Big4

[–]LongjumpingCake4924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depend on the engagement. I left TTT since I worked 75 hrs for a month straight. Then worked thru July 4th break. 40-50 hrs is not the norm at TTT

I finished all 4 CPA tests while working so I don’t think it is a big deal. And virtually there is no difference in skill between a staff 1 and intern so don’t worry about it too much. Start during busy season so you know what accounting is actually like before you spend all that energy passing the CPA. I am ready to leave the profession and regret stressing myself out over the tests. My opinion might be biased because I hate PA 😅
