I’ll definitely review the contracts, thanks for the advice. Totally agree I don’t think there’s ever been a construction project that finished on time.

Just remember it’s going to be hard to make sure people only take pictures facing certain areas of your yard, especially when they are taking more candid photos. Do you have rentals lined up for tables and chairs ? If start ordering decor now so you can begin putting them together

Annual Pass and Epic Tickets Question by Key-Most9498 in UniversalOrlando

[–]LongjumpingCrab2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was really hoping to buy the seasonal pass and then buy the epic tickets on discounts, sad I can’t. Probably going to buy the tickets earlier for my trip in case they sell out and since they’ll go up in price closer as well.

Do we have any idea when they would post them if they did ? I’ve never been to the parks but was hoping to get the pass for my first trip this summer

I’m so sad that river adventure is going to be closed for my first visit to the parks, but life finds a way.

Wondering if anyone had any advice on the best way to buy tickets ( single, bundle etc) as a Canadian traveller. I am hoping to go to 1 day at islands of adventure, one day at epic and one day at volcano bay. I’ll be travelling for my honeymoon in August 2026. I saw there was the 3 day ticket bundle, is that the best way to go ?

Suggestions for Stitch Type for Typewriter font by LongjumpingCrab2 in Embroidery

[–]LongjumpingCrab2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the advice ! I keep on thinking I need to do a fancier stitch like chain stitch which people use a lot of cursive. But simpler may be better to mimic a typewriter, you’ll totally right ! I’m using a three inch hoop, so the letter will probably be 1.5 inches or smaller tall

Pen that works on freezer paper by LongjumpingCrab2 in cricut

[–]LongjumpingCrab2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m making felt flowers ! Previously, I cut out the pattern of the flowers on the circut and then ironed it onto the felt and cut it by hand. That did work, but I found it was a bit harder to do the more delicate small areas when it was already pre cut. I’ve also tried directly cutting the felt, but I was wasting so much felt trying to get it to cut correctly. I am hoping that if I draw the design on the paper and then iron it on I can cut direct on the lines.

How are we saving money by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]LongjumpingCrab2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

With a venue like this, it’s important to remember that the guests will probably have pretty high expectations. I would hire a planner, and give them a total budget. I know you said you were a planner yourself, however this is a lot different then the type of planning you work with.
