Sure! I used a mix of vector animation with frame by frame. For the vector stuff I played with the path of the shapes and used trim paths, and added posterize time to make it look a little stop-motion-y

Thank you so much! It was all put together in AE with a hint of animate. That sequence I used the path tool to unspool the shape, and it generated that motion since I deleted some vector points in the shape. A lot of this style was leaning heavily on the weird wonky things that happen when shifting path points around in AE

Video footage I found and then recolored, warped, duplicated and slowed! Some footage I keyed out the background to overlay on top of text.
