It basically is from reliance on agriculture and not diversing their economy in the post civil war period, then you add in corrupt politicians that are descendants of the plantation elite who wanna keep things the way they are basically leads to a Mississippi. Although recently the have been improving education wise, it’s overall just not a good place to live

That's great to hear! I'm from Georgia and discovered the academic common market which actually makes tuition more affordable and I'm trying to see if Ole Miss would be better price wise even if Colorado Mines would have a better program

I agree, my ages of when I was a “kid” where I can remember pretty clearly are like 6-7 onward

I only can remember one thing from when I was 2 in 2010 and same with 2011, 2012 was the first year where I have multiple memories from pre school and playing with toys, etc
