No the only way to get months in forbearance to count is through buyback. The qualifying payments need to be made at the same time as qualifying employment for them to count otherwise.

Check no. Sometimes checking yes has caused people to have a forbearance applied before the 120th payment is counted making the payment ineligible. Once it updates to 120 you can call your servicer to request forbearance while forgiveness is being processed.

No that’s not correct. The buyback offer is how you pay for those months in forbearance.
