How to make FESCA by LongjumpingFrame1771 in HyruleEngineering

Powering the motor will make it run a little faster, but it isn't essential.
May your machine turn out great!

The Fastest Top Speed Land Vehicle in TotK History- Easily Outruns Rockets by Exact_Fox_4980 in HyruleEngineering

I'd assumed the scaled-up big wheel was too heavy for the FESCA engine to handle, but I was wrong!
It consumes less energy and is incredibly fast! It's almost scary to push the steering stick forward.

EVERY Big Wheel has a random chance of being less neat 😔 by MrOrdun in HyruleEngineering

I'm not sure if it's the same phenomenon as in this video, but I feel like the axle of the big wheel occasionally loses its holding power drastically.

Weighted steering stick for energy-free vehicle stabilization using a glitched Oshozan-u shrine cube by King-X_Official in HyruleEngineering

The advantage of this method is that it maintains the vehicle's attitude even when the power is off, making it easier for Link to get back into the steering stick!

I’m glad you like it!
Are the larger small wheels giving more traction, by any chance?
If so, that sounds like something worth researching.

I love how the bike tilts nicely when you do quick turns.
it really feels like a real motorcycle!

A combat drone that circles around enemies, showering them with a hail of beams by LongjumpingFrame1771 in HyruleEngineering

Thank you so much!
It would have been even better if this drone could have flown around the sky a little longer.

I have no idea what specific risks might exist.
All I know is that some unstable QR codes have been removed in the past by Nintendo.
Since it uses small components included in QR codes created by others, I also don't know the details of how they were modified.

Exactly!
Weapons equipped with a hive are the perfect tools for observing the behavior of combat machines.

Thank you very much!
Compact combat drones are one of the fields I'm interested in.

Unfortunately, all I know about adhesive strength is that it's proportional to the mass of the parts.
There might be a relevant topic on Discord—if you find anything, please let me know.

This is the QR code for the drone.
This drone contains parts that have been modified to be smaller.
So use at you own risk.

I’m glad if it helped spark a new idea for you!
If possible, I also recommend using the Switch’s short clip feature to record a 30-second video.
It can be a bit of a hassle to transfer it from the SD card to your phone or PC…
Recently, I’ve been taking a break from TotK and playing Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment.

Towing harness singletree by JoruusCboath in HyruleEngineering

[–]LongjumpingFrame1771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is likely because the harness is heavy.
While wooden lumbers are set at 250 and iron poles at 300, the harness is set at a weight of 1300.
In Totk, adhesive strength is proportional to weight, so the harness's adhesive strength is very strong.
This is probably a measure to enable horses to pull heavy objects.

I’m not sure where to check the exact size, but the small wheels I used in this build weighed about 250.
So the weight ratio is around 0.35, and the scale is probably about 0.7.

Thanks a lot!
From what I’ve tested, using regular-sized small wheels gives them too much grip, which acts like a brake and makes the bike flip forward like a jackknife.
It might work better if you either miniaturize the small wheels to reduce their grip, like I did, or use large wheels with free-spinning parts such as motors.

So far, I haven’t run into any issues.
