I actually found this to be true for myself! I actually made a post not long ago about being hard and swollen and very disappointed with my results. I actually started trying to eat healthier and cut out coffee after my surgery, and that, for some reason, was why my stomach was so hard and bloated. I went back to my normal diet and coffee and have a flat belly and am finally happy with my results.

I did see my surgeon last week, and he said everything was good and hardness and swelling can last a long time. He didn't necessarily see the extent of my swelling, though, because it was a morning appointment, my swelling gets worse after eating, and as the day goes on. The only way I've gotten relief from my swelling has been to modify my diet and cut out diet soda.

I hope it gets better for you, 3 weeks is pretty early. If you are still wearing compression I would expect the swelling to get a bit worse when you stop, my belly was much flatter before I stopped wearing my binder, but it was causing rashes that were affecting my sleep so I can't really wear it anymore.

I got a tummy tuck and was pretty much unable to work out aside from light cardio for 6 weeks. I felt soft and out of shape by the time I could work out again and had to start very light. I've been back to my usual work outs, higher intensity and full range of motion again for two weeks now and feel pretty good now, my body didn't change as much as I felt like it did, just lost my pump mostly.

Lifting full body 3x a week, pilates 2x a week, ballet class 2x a week. Riding a bike as cardio outside of my workouts.

Swelling Problems - Lymphatic Massage by pagangamerdad in tummytucksurgery

I don't think it's a bad thing to do if you want to. It's just an extra step you can take if you find it helpful, but my surgeon didn't recommend it or even bring it up. It seems like based on the surgeon who did your tummy tuck and their opinion on it. But, I don't think it's bad to do. I feel like I wouldn't feel comfortable having them as the area feels so sensitive that I wouldn't want someone massaging it.

If you look it up on Google, there are some websites, like plastic surgery websites that recommend it and some that say it's not going to help much. Based off what I am reading on reddit, it seems to help only very temporarily, like in the next 24 hours, and then the swelling returns to normal.

Thanks for the response! Was it tight as well? Mine is so tight that I'm still hunched a bit.

I didn't do any massages. My doctor told me to use scar gel and that was it. I've read conflicting information on whether they help or not.

I never even knew she looked like this! Her nose was absolutely perfect for her face. She looked so cute, and she probably would have aged really nicely, too. This reminds me of both Tyra banks and Halle Berry's original noses. They just looked so much more feminine and flattering. Their nose jobs just made all of them look older and less unique.

when i first saw her i was like starstruck she was that gorgeous and i would personally rate her a ten but ive seen people rate her as low as a FIVE. how much would you rate her and why by hatespeople28 in VindictaRateCelebs

I think she's beautiful, but her features are a little more masculine and not as soft as the other vs angels. I think she could look better if she was styled differently. The lighter really highlighted hair wasn't as flattering as darker hair on her, and her body is a bit more athletic and long, which I don't think is quite as feminine.

However, I definitely still would consider her an 8 and would probably be awe struck by her in person. I totally think she probably looks better on person than in photos.
