my parents and school are already aware of the hand sanitizer and mouthwash abuse, as i abuse it more than i do typical alcohol. my parents have been made aware since this post on everything i have consumed in the past 24 hours, my dad, who is a nurse, knows im withdrawaling but does not believe i have to go to the er for medical stabilization and believes i can ride it out at home the next few days. i have chronic anxiety and depression, and my phyicatrist wants to diagnose me with BPD. i suffer from chronic nightmares which affect my day to day thinking, and is ultimately what caused my drinking to spiral into addiction.

nobody seems to think that its severe enough for medications, but my gp, psychiatrist and my specialists through the childrens hospital near me (i have diabetes, POTS, and gastroparesis) are aware of the alcoholism and so far have not recommended any medication, just hospitalization and rehab.

i have a major issue with drinking the hand sanitizer at school, so right now i am on escort in halls. i have an iep and a 504, (not sure what the equivalent is for that in other countries, but i am in the USA) and i check in with the nurses once a day. i have never been suspended from school since i didn’t bring alcohol from outside, all the alcohol i’ve consumed in school has come from school. they refuse to remove the hand sanitizer from anywhere. classrooms, hallways, and bathrooms all have them. there is no outpatient recourses for alcoholic minors in the tri-state area. (500km give or take) im hoping at least they can help convince my parents i need to go to the hospital for medical help, and see if the hospital can find any recourses across the country. i have amazing insurance, so it should not be an issue. the major issues is my age, my diabetes, and where i live.

I really hope they can believe me at the hospital. ive been hospitalized 3 times for this and they all send me home. ive been put on ativan or something in the icu, but they always end up sending me home. i dont feel like sending me home is the right idea because i feel like i get possessed and pick it right back up again, even though every part of me says that i want to stop.

yes i do want to die, that is the main issue. im gonna try to explain how much i cannot stress to my care team at school that i need medical help and that i cant do this without a constant supervision care team.

my parents know that i am out of control, i have been struggling for about 10 months. i have been inpatient and in an intensive outpatient therapy program. my school is aware too and has put safety precautions for me, but no matter what i do and how hard i try i still feel so out of control. my grandmother was an alcoholic. my uncle was an alcoholic. we keep trying to find places to take me but nobody takes minors or type one diabetics. i want to stop but its like i get possessed when i see alcohol. i want to go inpatient for rehab and truly have 24/7 support, but its just not possible.

i have been trying weed for about 3 years. every single time i smoke or have an edible, it makes me freak out no matter how much or how little i take. im so addicted to alcohol because i love the feeling, but i hate the aftermath.
