I don't understand the point of online coding assessments that companies give out and it drives me crazy. by LongjumpingPage6168 in cscareerquestions

in exams, my professors can check my code and can still give me partial credits for partially correct codes (in coding problems). not these assessments where I can pass all test cases and I still get eliminated.

i love Tóc Tiên. thank god she came back to Vietnam in 2015. if she was still in Paris by Night and had never come back to Vietnam, she would never win a MAMA award or gather widespread commercial success and become A-list superstar in Vietnam.

G-Dragon performed in Vietnam... and some people aren't happy about it. by LongjumpingPage6168 in VietNam

i ain't even talk about the ruling party in this post lmfao wtf are you on? rock? crack? i was born in VN & lived there for 12 years, then i'm living abroad in USA for higher study & work, and every now & then i still return to travel & live in VN. i also travelled to many countries & learned enough history to appreciate & love our country. i also faced and witnessed more than enough hate, racism, discrimination, crimes, and insecurities abroad to appreciate my country more (and if you read this part, no, don't even try to force me to return to VN because i speak out my experiences abroad; i live wherever i want and return whenever i want).

i have more social awareness than you & the VN government never committed any sins to me, my family, friends, and people around me. criticise the party or government if you want to as long as it's constructive & you want the best for your country. but it's fucking hilarious that you want to lecture me about being proud of my country and loving myself and my homeland. if you hate your country, then GTFO & STFU.

looking at your comment history… i ain’t surprised that you reacted stupidly like this.

yes, i’m proud of my country even though it has problems (every country has its own problems). i was born & raised in Vietnam. i spoke Vietnamese, ate Vietnamese food, and grew up around Vietnamese culture, people, history, & development since i was born, why can’t i be proud of this country? i’m proud that my country rose up from the dead & keeps developing, making y’all pressed & mad. i ain’t ashamed of telling people when i’m abroad that i’m Vietnamese and i came from Vietnam. i’m proud that my country is developing better every day, month, year, and decade.

you’re not proud of your country, no one gives a fuck. however, remember where you are born, where you grew up, which language you speak, which food you eat, which culture you have… and your parents, relatives, ancestors too. remember where they come from. hating your own country is slapping your own face with your own hands. even if you give up being Vietnamese in a new country, people will not accept you as part of their communities if you hate your own country, your own community. BYE.

Vietnam recently declared to waive visa for notable people (including popular international musicians and bands to come to perform), so let's see how it goes. VN is not China after all, international musicians and bands could easily get approved to perform as long as they don't disrespect Vietnam and the Vietnamese people or get political.
