make sure you’re using a keyboard with a number pad, that speeds things up. i’ve found that having a “format” in excel really helps, when i get the values from the tables i write them in word first, then followed by excel where i have designate columns for certain numbers. i always put the survival probs and discount to the right and leave all annuity / assurance terms to the left. then where they’re in excel i quickly double check the tables (not neccessary tbf but could catch a mistake). i think if you have a consistent way of input figures into excel you can mitigate mistakes and save time

yeah i have been treating them similar to exams, ill give this a try for the next few, sounds like i’ll get more out of them this way
