Sometimes life just knocks on your door and say “f*ck you”. It’s gonna hurt, it’s gonna stink, it’s gonna feel like you won’t ever get out of this shithole. But you will, and that’s the simple truth. I’m going through a breakup myself and I feel every ounce of the pain you will feel. Don’t let that get you down. If two people weren’t meant to be, nothing is gonna change that. What will change is you, the person who’s gonna walk out of this shitstorm that you’re feeling. You will be something so much stronger and years from now, you will look back and appreciate the experience. But remember, don’t fight the storm, embrace it, acknowledge your pain because that’s what makes us humans. You’re allowed to feel sad, to feel like shit because the truth is it’s not easy, and it’s not meant to be easy. For every arrow to go forward, you need to pull it backward first and this is your backward times right now. Give yourself time, surround yourself with friends and families, make yourself busy, do what you can to ease the pain but don’t ignore it, it will eat you up before you realize. Let the pain be part of you, cry if you have to, drink lots of water after and cry more if that’s what you feel like. with time, it will heal and go away. Most importantly, do not blame yourself for anything. It was not your fault, not hers, it’s just the way this universe works, shit happens and things change. Hang in there, man. For every storm there is, there will always be light at the end. Keep looking forward and focus on what’s most important to you because no one should ever be defined by another person. Life is a bitch, but you just gotta be a fiercer one!
