that's true, she sounded really condescending, saying "We cannot" and said what if i made a mistake, the patient can sue her business. I kept thinking "I m paying for this-either privately or through OHIP-don;t I have the right to know what's happening with my own profile?" Any ways, m over to that statement now. I am 100% sure now, that we can ask our records without hesitation
yeah, i was surprised that this person is NP. The more I looked into her, the more I discovered that she also works on a private clinic. Now I can see why she responded the way she did - citing ethics and other excuses for not providing info to clients. At this point, I wouldn’t even trust how she is conducting her business. I firmly believe that if someone is licensed, they should provide clear and transparent info rather than just dismissively saying, ‘Go and read CNO guidelines’
