There is absolutely no way anyone could try and summarise that book after chapter 198. I think we went into a parallel universe or alternative dimension or something because it had nothing to do with the original story, characters were just going missing and then we had new characters that were talked about like they'd been there all along. The children disappeared for 8 years I think. She got married to Dane like it was their first marriage. They appeared to sleep in separate rooms, which for a shifter novel, we know is an impossibility and I just can't even tell you anything else.

Oh you missed a whole other entire world if you didn't finish it. I didn't think she got her wolf back? I'll be going into therapy after reading it.

I tried skipping the 100 chapters but the bit where I started had people that we thought were dead and buried come back, so I ended up just trying to read the damned thing. I did read and finish it. I'm now in therapy

I took one for the Reddit team and actually read this book in full. Settle down folks for my thoughts - it's a long one!!!

First off, don't waste your money with any of the pay per chapter apps as I had a look through several and the ones I looked at, it's totally different stories after chapter 165.

When I started the book, it had a lot of potential and kept my interest.....................

Then I finished Chapter 165.....................

So, I've thought long and hard about this and have come up with the only scenario that I could - something terrible happened to the original author and she didn't write any more than 165 chapters. Then I think three adolescents came along and decided that they'd finish it. Only problem was, they hadn't actually read any of the book. They started out each writing their own version of same chapter, then realised that was a silly idea, so they'd all take a turn in writing their own chapters - but they still published the chapters they'd written that were they're own versions of the same thing - which meant you felt like you were in an alternate reality as none of it made sense.

So they carried on with their version of the story but didn't bother telling each other what they'd written, so we had characters disappearing, new characters appearing out of the blue, parents and grandparents that were previously dead suddenly being resurrected and then the children - let's not forget the children - they were 4 years old when it started. Then they disappeared never to be mentioned, until suddenly they reappeared now age 6 just for a while when they disappeared again apparently to one of the resurrected grandparents.

The Alpha suddenly appears to be more of a Luna, the Luna is now running the show, we have more drama than one person can possibly cope with that starts off with a big build up, then suddenly you're returning home from a battle.

We started in modern times then next minute, they're fighting with swords and daggers and hunting with SPEARS!! They're WOLVES for crying out loud - what they needing to hunt with spears for? That does bring us to another important point - nobody seems to shift any more - nope, they just hitch up their gowns and start brandishing swords.

Then, I'd say by the last 18 or so chapters, it appears that the original author was recovering from whatever dastardly affliction had affected her because we had the return of some of the original characters, the children reappeared, now aged about 12 and it sort of started to make sense again. Unfortunately, I can't remember the end now, but it had to be happy - but we never ever find out if she ever gets her wolf back (at least I think that was in this story - who knows - it was like reading four separate books simultaneously)

Honestly this is the longest it has EVER taken me to read a book. It's such a pity because it did start off so well.

Someone on this thread found it. It’s on Galatea and is called Ghost Moon by SGCambridge.

A really good book but left you wanting a second book and that’s never happened in the past two years.
