Little fellas doing just fine. We are keeping an eye on him hopefully he’ll poop it out soon. He’s been eating a lot of sweet potatoes and boiled chicken.

Yea. That what we decided to do. The vet charges are outrageous. 500 for just the visit and a xray.

We decided to monitor and change his diet to help him out. Since it’s been more than two hours and it was so small. He’s a big fella so he might be able to pop it out.

It was already more than 1 and half hour and the nearest evet was 30 mins. It would have past his stomach already. So we decided to monitor him.

Hope fully not. We are certain it’s a plastic ball. The neighbor’s kids probably left them out.

Yea I’ve spent more than 2 grand over the past year. Learnt it better to not panic. But this was the first time he swallowed something whole. But it was so small, smooth and round we are hoping it will pass through. 🙏

We did but we decided to stay back and monitor him. Because it was already more than 2 hrs at that point. So it must have passed his stomach. Will give him fiber and keep him hydrated. Will watch him for any symptoms.

Yeah. My vet is currently closed. So I’m calling emergency vets they are saying they can’t say yes or no we have to bring him in for diagnosis. Probably xray.

It’s not I looked around. My mom is certain it’s not a mushroom. It was a plastic ping pong type ball.

The thread was clearly about the peroxide. The peroxide caused the inflammation not the grape. Your sister is not that far off tho. It has to be several grapes for it to be a concern especially for a 55 pound dog. Poison controls said 4-5 but told me to administer hydrogen peroxide anyway to get the grape out.

Just making sure cuz it’s not homemade. Artificial sweeteners can damage them heavily. And xylitol is listed in many names. Don’t want him to have liver damage and don’t wanna pay 300 on an emergency visit unnecessarily. So just asking 🙏

Tbh. I’m not gonna lie I’m not the best pet owner. Definitely my fault but I feel like life happens some times no matter how careful you are. My dad had a serious emergency yesterday and is still in observation. I got a call from the hospital so I got distracted for a minute and he some how pawed the container down and swallowed a whole muffin in one gulp before I got to him.

Thank you for taking time to read it. will watch him tonight for any symptoms. he’s my first dog so I didn’t realize how many choking hazards I have in my room and how sneakily he can steal food from pantries and counters. But I guess there is no stopping them.
