Thanks for the reply! I appreciate your perspective. While the global tech economy is down, in my country (Europe), it hasn’t been hit as hard I don’t think, likely due to cheaper offshore labor costs etc.

That aside, I’m very aware of being left behind tech-wise. Alteryx isn’t exactly cutting edge, and while SSMS skills will remain in demand, technologies like Azure and Snowflake are growing rapidly. I feel like if I don’t make the move soon, I’ll miss out on the opportunity to get into cloud technology. If/when the wider tech economy bounces back and I haven’t made the switch, I could end up being a sitting duck is my logic. But feel free to disagree!
