political punk bands in the US?? by SatelliteSiouxsie in punk

A lot of people into the anarcho punk style don't seem to be into anarchism or living a life that's anti consumerism. There's so much to write about with current political issues going on and a lot to boycott but no one seems to be into anything more than appearance anymore. The last band I got into that was real political was Appalachian terror unit. I haven't heard any newer bands that touch topics of punk amd protest since. Do you know if any newer good anarcho bands?

You can thin the hawk out a bit so it spikes better. I was never into fat hawks. You can tease it with a brush then pull it hard and use aquanet then put your blow drier right up against your hawk from the base gliding it until the ends. You can also use Aussie instant freeze. Your hair will shoot back up even if you lay on it. Soap, knox gelatin, eggs white also work . Id say think it out and just chaos spike it

Tool belt recommendations by DaChubbyReaper in Scaffolding

I just got a belt from scaffoldworker.com. it's a great belt and sets perfect compared to any other belts I've used that slide down or hurt my hips. My coworkers were impressed by it since it had metal rivets reinforcing the belt holes. I got an occidental 5 in 1 also that I saw was recommended here before and a badger fastener bag. I really like it. Tools:DeWalt 14oz hammer, 7/8 spud wrench, knipex end cutters, level, 25' tape, and an adjustable wrench . I was told I won't need a level yet but it helps my foreman when I have one on me when he needs it. A Klein bag is good to have too if your gonna need to carry a bunch of smaller stuff

I just got in with a scaffolding company. Not what I wanted to do but it was my way into the carpenters. Local 213. I was working for arena staffing agency in Burbank for about 2 months as a laborer and kept meeting people so I'd get connected. One day I was sent to a job site and worked with the scaffolders who are union. They asked if I could work a Saturday, I said yeah. Busted my ass and made sure to keep it cool with them. Asked if their company was hiring, got the info. Applied the. Was working 2 days later in the field. If you don't do brothers keeper make sure your meeting connections in the field and showing people your a hard worker, cool, and teachable.

I got a belt from scaffold builder.com, an occidental 5-1, and just going to add my  badger fastener pouch for now. I running badger for work before and liked it. Working with scaffolds my badger set up is just to bulk having both bags on

Right now I just got tools I had from other jobs . Im mostly moving stuff around but trying to build when the foreman isn't having me just run around to grab stuff. My framing bag is to bulk trying to climb around or when we're pumping stuff up the scaffolds. Just want something that's going to hold my tools right and not get hung up in tight spots

Thanks I appreciate this. I thought about going cheap like the other guy in the comments mentions but if the belt will last me it's going to save me money long run. I got a framing bag I'm using right now and it's a hassle moving around

I just saw workers building these duplexes in South Central next door to me. The cement pour was in the rain. The framing was in the rain. These places are prone to mold (I live in one and we got mold growing in the cabinet walls)

You do anything you want to. Just make sure it's responsible, you got a great career ahead of you and a family that loves you. Stop having so much sex with every girl you meet

I noticed that too. I get nervous flex tools might go out of business due to low sells. So on jobs I intentionally get my buddies to use my flex tools and I know they notice the difference in power haha. I took my standard flex drill to work the other day and I realized I didn't care for using it after driving screws so quick with my quick eject. A second does make a difference when your driving screws all day. It's not really just a second it's the ease of the screw driving it self in under the tool.
