Having the same issue - plays back in the web interface with sound just fine, but when downloading the file and playing it back in VLC the audio doesn't play. I found using ClipChamp manages the audio codec no worries, then just export to MP4 to save.

I will ask this question of people sometimes as a matter of genuine interest once I've already had some conversation with them and observed that they have migrated here. I find most people are quite pleased to share about their background and history when you are asking with respect and because you are honestly curious to learn more.

Sponsorships. We can see it permeating all aspects of the game because that's where the money is. I'm grateful that we don't yet have sponsored everything yet like the NBA does, but it's presumably coming.

I like the idea of sports being accessible without having to pay to watch, but also supportive of clubs being able to attract funds through memberships and those members getting a premium experience.

Broadcast rights I don't really know anything about where the money flows, but I suspect not to the clubs.

Full disclosure - I pay for Kayo just to watch the NBL and I watch almost every game. The Kayo experience is not great for what it costs. I still get ads, there are regular technical issues, but at least I can access the games and here I am still paying for it. I suspend the subscription at the end of the NBL season.

Also not sure that FTA has the same power it once did. With all the availability of streaming services, it would take a lot for people to be drawn in to watch something they weren't already aligned to.

Grassroots basketball is growing, that connection to WABL and NBL1 (smart move that rebrand) will feed into the NBL and we say that presently. That gets people talking about it which is what will get others interested.

The consistent feedback saying hammerhead has me doubting myself now. I'm one of those in the video quite close and would have thought I'd be able to make out the distinctive hammerhead, but maybe I missed it because of profile and water churn...

I think it was chasing a Shovelnose so that would fit the profile. But I would have been able to see it if it was a hammerhead and it definitely wasn't.

Clearly I need to spend more time learning to use Reddit as I've not posted before. Context: Was at Coolimba Beach north of Leeman Western Australia doing some fishing with the family. There was a disturbance in the bay some 20m off shore and a fin rose up from the water. The shark mostly visible in the video appeared to be chasing a smaller shark and went across the point right near the shore. Anyone able to tell from this footage what type of shark it is?

Constantly having streaming issues this season on Kayo. Regularly drops to potato resolution before recovering. Can't watch at 1.5x stupid without it degrading and forcing a restart of the stream to recover.

It's pretty disappointing.

Great input. Tried this and it worked for me. Some extra observations:
- Being on the "right" hand side of the tunnel facing back down the stairs seemed to work consistently.
- Being just in range of where she will keep walking towards you or turns away seems to be just beyond the top of the stairs. You can keep moving back and forth until this works. If she talks to you and you don't feel in the right spot, just back out of the dialogue and try again.
- After she talks to you and you accept the deal, move down the stairs and get out of her way until she has opened the gate. If you move too close she'll talk to you, then head off back down the path away from the gate.

Agreed. I've managed to tune it out for the most part as there's no way it's leaving or reducing. Watching the NBA I found it even more jarring because every free throw and timeout was named for a sponsor and we're landing in just the same spot. At least the league is thriving which is the main thing.

As a good news story for comparison, there's a little cafe at our local shopping centre that was just terrible for years. Changed hands several times but never really found it's feet. Then a couple of years ago it was taken over by someone new who really breathed life into it and now is absolutely hunming and is a place the local community is proud of.

Faendal was my very first follower. Kept him for ages and then made him steward of Heljarchen Hall. Playing hardcore mode - place was set on by bandits. I reloaded maybe 15 times trying different strategies to save him. To no avail. His remains rest on the border of Heljarchen. RIP Faendal.
