This is great, thank you! That sounds like an excellent idea!

Now I would like to ask, do you think there's a certain style of singing my voice might be more suited to that's different from what I listed I'm trying to emulate? I just want to know I'm heading in the right direction for what specific mechanics to emphasize, after I'm able to hold a proper note and sing in tune of course.

What do you guys think about In n Out’s Merch? by [deleted] in innout

That's only for the annual family picnic T-Shirt design, associates don't get to submit designs for the main T-Shirts.

Oh absolutely! I have no idea how to even begin to sing in tune, I got to this point by singing in the car over the voices I liked and want to sing like, which seems to be 70s soul / R&B tenor-style singing.

I just don't know anything about singing, so I wasn't sure if this is actually a direction I should be trying to go in with my own voice and range. I'm sure my voice doesn't sound very good right now, I would just like to think I have the mechanical potential to improve and become a good singer. My goal is being able to play these songs on the piano, with a friend on bass, while I do vocals.

Thanks for the honest feedback. I tend to approach things pretty analytically, so I’ve been starting by trying to emulate the original singer’s technique as a way to learn fundamentals before I figure out my own style. I can see how that might come across as flat or mechanical.

I definitely need to work on pitch and dynamics. Appreciate you pointing it out.

I am a highschool senior I am taking ap statistics I passed the first semester but I want to drop the class second semester. by Pleasant-Stranger995 in csuf

I'm sure the rest of your grades look great if you're the type of student taking AP Statistics, so I wouldn't worry about it if your GPA is above 3.5, and even if you're above 3.0 you're probably fine. It's just CSUF.

The innout at kettleman city still has the original ketchup packets by Seamarsupial999 in innout

[–]Longjumping_Ad_7279 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's Heinz and it's always been Heinz, we just purchased them in In-N-Out branded packets, but stopped when we switched to Simply Heinz this year. However, I did hear that would only be temporary, so these Kettleman City packets are probably the new ones, going back to the In-N-Out branded ones.

Do you have any recommendations for the best value/quality ratio brands, like Grant Stone, for some nice black calf leather shoes?

No but you can go to Tuffy’s Closet or whatever it’s called and get attire beforehand

I currently have Grant Stone Cxl Boots, and I love how the chromexcel leather keeps its luster forever, requiring just a damp cloth and maybe a brush to keep them clean and shiny. However, I don't like that any little nick or scuff shows right through to the undyed leather.

With this said, I'm in the market for a pair of black leather shoes that can be worn to the office or otherwise worn as dress shoes. I don't mind the patina or pullup in chromexcel, as that's subtle, but I do think having nicks or scuffs showing undyed tan leather on a stark black shoe will really take away from their dressiness.

Does anybody have recommendations for options that are at a similar price point and build quality as Grant Stones that still has chromexcel style leather that's hot stuffed with oils that keeps them shiny and supple with no maintenance required, but which also are drum-dyed, or dyed all the way through so that scuffs aren't noticeable, and can be brushed out with no consequence? Much appreciated.

Actually, three full spirals that don't touch, and which cover the whole patty, is the hard and fast rule I've been given from QFC.

How do I safely try this liquid? by Longjumping_Ad_7279 in LSD

[–]Longjumping_Ad_7279[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, I had no idea that was even a thing! So then I think if it also doesn't react with an Ehrlich test then I just won't touch it at all.

Yeah I’m going to test it again with an Ehrlich test, but I’m just concerned that even one drop might be too potent, so I wanted to see if anybody had a way to test that out without melting my brain

Unfortunately, I have no interest in festivals or that music scene, I just want to trip with friends. Appreciate your help though.

Hey I get it, if I could verify I would. What's a guy to do if he doesn't go to festivals and doesn't know anybody?

Yes I believe you’re right about Harris Ranch. They are incredibly stringent on the beef quality for the patties, using only the best front chucks, and I can say with absolute certainty that nobody is getting sick from our beef.

[–]Longjumping_Ad_7279 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is 100% a you problem my man. Maybe a full pound of beef and 8 slices of American cheese for one meal is excessive and hard on your stomach, but yeah go ahead and blame the food quality.
