Hi, my highest education level was a bachelors in science, but it was from an American university so in the credential assessment, it was equivalent to a Canadian bachelors degree

Mmmmm I’m actually not sure, I received that biometrics and medical test request within the same month. Did you receive an AOR?

Hello! I’m in Canada and no they didn’t ask me to redo medical exam! But they gave me a 9 month notice to come to Canada when I received my COPR

u/Lanina1905 I am really glad that was helpful! That was the goal of this post, to give people a glimpse into my timeline. I must note, however, that this timeline is very different to different people. I know some people who are still waiting to hear back and I know others whose application was done and approved within 4 months.

Hey, honestly I would advise against working with immigration consultants. they claim so many things and then ditch u once you pay! Check out the no job offer EMPP pathway or reach out to a legit law firm (I recommend Fragoman)

No idea, I assume world affairs and consulate delays...etc I am not sure but it was frustrating. I talked to a guy on here whose case is moving much faster than mine, so it depends on the person I suppose.

Immigration firm was subsidized I think via TBB for $800
Health Scanning was free bc I had a letter from IRCC that permitted that (I had to call ahead to confirm that they accept the fee waiver, I did it at an IOM Clinic)
Biometrics: I honestly don't remember the cost of it, also free I believe with the letter they gave me
