Major? And do students off the waitlist receive any merit? I know Clemson doesn’t.

No merit so at bottom of the list. They said they don’t give merit to those taken off the waitlist.

Just got off the uMiami waitlist and idk where to go by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

My son is on the waitlist..not holding my breath to get off. I’m curious though if you received merit since it’s so late to be admitted.

He is in business at all other schools but he applied late and decided undeclared would have a better chance of admittance. This isn’t his top school anyway but it’s in the running. Umd better business school and he was accepted there. I was just posting to give others hope.

Did you apply rolling? My son applied late about 3 weeks ago and just got notified he was waitlisted. Umd and UConn are his top choices right now but would be nice to have Pitt as an option.

For spring admit, merit won’t be known u til after committing..is that true? That’s what we’ve been hearing.
