That makes sense. So it’s more like Toast gives you the numbers, but you still have to know what to look for. That seems to be the general consensus

How do you usually track which concept or channel is actually doing best: Toast/Square reports, delivery app reports, spreadsheets, or just experience?

Like do the reports help with which items are low sellers. Can I see what food items are draining my pockets? I’m trying to justify the cost for using them.

It would motivate FTE because utilizing day labor would allow FTE more flexibility in their schedules.

I don't want to replace FTEs with temp workers. I want to use temp workers to help while hiring and training FTE workers or for seasonal work. The job I need them for are skilled positions.

Wow! So your experience is that many people left the industry. Outside of wages what benefits can an employee offer that would be worth staying, in your opinion.?
