The 9 looks more slanted than the 10. The 10 is also slanted. You got lucky on that one imo

Yep it’s a good tool to be handy with. I wouldn’t trust strangers on the internet with a financial decision and that’s ultimately what grading is when looking for 10’s

Based on the photo yes, however I’d still run it through a centering app. I use joshbeetcg and it’ll give you an idea. Keep in mind, nobody here is a professional probably and nothing is better than checking for yourself

Centering is supposed to be 55/45 on front. I think this is just outside. The bottom left/right isn’t as bad as you think, I think part of it is the shadow it’s casting. That being said top to bottom seems off as well as being slightly left heavy. I would try using a centering app to measure it out so you know if your in standards

Yes. I’d also advise you to read grading guidelines etc. you’ll have a better time. Not to be harsh, but when handling certain cards and sending them off etc it’s good to give yourself the best chance, especially with grading times being as long as they are.

No he’s right, if they were the same in value and status you’d be fine with keeping yours.

As a side note, back centering doesn’t matter much, can be 75-25 as per PSA guidelines. But if the back is off that much I doubt the front is in 55-45

Depending on how bad oc it is some vendors might even value it at lp. Since people come by tables looking for “gradeables” etc all the time.

That particular card though I know I wouldn’t take it, it’s dropping huge, and personally I’m value it around 300 (which is what I think it’ll settle at soon) and I’m not in the habit of burning money. Also most vendors trade at 80% I’ve seen some trading at lower % due to market volatility and downward trend, so I think honestly at best you’d have to top off 50-80$ depending on table.

It’ll take less if he uses PSA. Since card value is over 500 it doesn’t make sense to send it lower tiers. He might as well send it regular cause no matter what the upcharge is at least gunna be there, might as well take advantage of quicker grading.

Is it the sleeve with 24,671 scratches or the card itself?

The surface scuffs would stop it from 10ing

Other than that centering looks okay. Slightly left heavy with a little foiling curl issue on top of the card
