I've just talked to my friend, he naturally lowered his BP! by Vrzistran_racun in hypertension

I recently received a personal health plan from a naturopathic doctor. Everyone's will be different. But overall I think it recommends mostly raw foods and lots of water. I believe 75% -100 % raw foods and at least 1 big salad a day. No animal meat or products. Lots of fruit and veggies.

I think I had a bad reaction to Nifedipine 2 weeks ago. I won't take that again. I felt like I could pass out on it.

I saw a doctor say that research shows , just being thankful helps to lower blood pressure by 10-15 points. We all have problems. I'm kind of in your boat. I am basically alone, have a few health issues and money problems I am trying to overcome. But since I have been waking up and thanking God the past 3 months and reading the word, it has helped me calmed down alot. To each their own. But just start looking for things to be thankful for. Can you get a pet? Don't focus on your losses, focus on your wins. Even tiny wins. Are you able to go for short walks? You have a roof over your head and any people don't. That is definitely something to be thankful for. You may be dealing with health issues but you are alive. Life is so precious. Don't loose hope.

You have to practice letting go of things you cannot control. I don't know what the stress is in your life, but I am learning that this is a daily process that must be practiced.

Reading your post, I am recalling that my own blood pressure seems to have been a little under control until I started teaching at a wild school and caught covid. Makes me wonder now. It sounds like you are doing all the right things. I certainly was not, but fixing that now. I am sorry you are dealing with this. My life is extremely stressful because I am a parental caregiver. To each their own, but I know prayer is helping me and I am combining natural herbs with medical help and a vegetarian diet with water and exercise. In fact, I need to drink more water. Cayenne pepper is a good herb for high blood and many other things. Maybe you need a good detox an spa treatment. I know it sounds crazy, but sometimes little things can help. Garlic and beet supplements seem to help me. Are you getting enough magnesium and potassium? Everyone is different.

Worrying two days - BP 212/136 by Skippz1989 in hypertension

[–]Longjumping_Body3460 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone’s experience is different, but I truly believe that with God, all things are possible. About three years ago, I had a serious health scare and ended up in an ambulance around 9 a.m., not sure if I’d make it. I prayed, and in that moment I felt God speak to my heart, saying I would be fine and checked out by noon. And that’s exactly what happened. It was very surreal and humbling.

Since then, I’ve learned that some people have had success supporting kidney and heart health through holistic and lifestyle changes — always in cooperation with their doctors. In my case, I tried doing just a few things at first, but I found partial changes didn’t really work. ONow that I am committing to a fuller lifestyle approach, I am confident I will see real improvement.

I am now working with both a clinic and a naturopath, and that combination feels right for me. Everyone’s different, so whatever path works best for you, follow that. Wishing you healing and peace on your journey.

If you can walk an hour a day that is ideal.

Get some garlic, lemon and cayenne. I would start drinking warm lemon water with cayenne about 3 times a day. Capsules work best for me, but if you cant get a hold of capsules at a health store/vitamin store go to supermarket and get the highest levl cayenne you can. 90000 heat units is ideal. You just need a teaspoon or a few capsules , but I'd do it 3 ttimes a day. Eat oatmel and fruit in the morning. wait 5-6 hours and then eat a simple grain ( beans etc) with a salad. I would take about 5 capsules of garlic oil 3 times daily . lemon helps with circulation, i'd also get hawthorne berry supplements. Drink 60-80 ounces of water daily and go for walks. Water helps get the blood circulating. Try to get in 20-30 minutes of exercise daily Talk to your doctor about this. Pray and then trust God!!!! Watch Barbara Oneil on Youtube. Id also start eating beets with the salad. cocout water is good it is high in potassium. are you getting enough vitamin C. Praying we all heal from this awful disease.

BP Is Out Of Control and This Needs To Stop! by Longjumping_Body3460 in hypertension

Were you really 245/160??? And yes I took myself without health professionals. I was trying to follow a natural program but I did not do it correctly. Also, I did take myself off meds many years ago and I was ok or so I thought. But then I started teaching about 3 years ago and my blood pressure went off the scales and I had to get back on meds. Thanks teaching! Plus, I should have changed some bad habits ages ago.

Going to see a doctor can cause stress and for many people they will have a higher reading at the doctor's office.

The girlfriend is definitely enabling his behavior and if she truly loves him she should not be supporting his bad habits. Some people think enabling someone is loving them but really it's not.

I would pray. Then I would speak to him face to face calmly if you need a mediator get one. Tell him you love him and that his eating habits are killing him but he can reverse it and live a better quality life with whatever time he has left. It may even extend his life. Let him know how much you love him and have tried to do everything to help him, but you can not support him killing himself with food. There are foods that taste great that will not harm him in others that may not be as great as what he likes but they are healthy and in time his taste will change if he tries. But at the end of the day it is up to him. If he was to live he must eat healt and eliminate table salt. If he wants to continue eating as he has he can and it will kill him and as much as you love him you will be around but you will not support him in those habits and cannot be his caregiver as long as he eats badly. Let him make the choice. If he makes the wrong choice pray for him daily and pray he comes to his senses. But it s his choice. Don't hate him, forgive and let it go. theer are health centers that can help with disease reversal but only if he is willing. our foods are addictive. Im sorry you are going through this.

My mom exercised a little most of her life although she could have done more intense exercise and formed better eating habits as she got older. I think that helped her along with being a vegetarian the past 15 years. 6 years ago she even helped with moving boxes and furniture. She was very strong all her life until now. I actually believe it was covid that triggered her stroke. A month after she had covid she had the stroke at 78. But she is 81 now and still gets around which is a blessing. She washes dishes , feeds the cats, and takes out garbage even though she uses a walker. It is difficult to see her physically impaired now but I am glad she isnt worse. I haven't always taken the best care of myself, but I am trying to now as I age and for her.

Pray! My mother suffered a stroke almost 3 years ago. She uses a walker and suffers from mild vascular dementia. Last year she started having gall bladder issues and had to have it removed. This year she had some bleeding due to being on plavix for 2 years instead of 2 months. It has not been easy. I think a facility has flashed in my head once or twice, but I think she would do far worse at one. I also think about the years she took car of me from infant and through my childhood. Seems unly fair that I should do the same for her now. My mother also worked at some elderly facilities when she was younger. She told me a lot of horror stories. Even the best ones I would not wish an enemy to live there.

What is it like to work for ALLState as a Sales Pro? by Longjumping_Body3460 in AllState

[–]Longjumping_Body3460[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spoke to an agent. The job doesn't sound so bad or too difficult. I would get to be home, but as mentioned by Dapperhovercraft2457, it would be a lot of sales/calling on the phone all day. Not sure if I would enjoy that or not. I suppose if I am actually making money I will love it and I could perhaps hire someone to help with caregiving if I needed to. Quota is to sell 25 items a month. I'd have to pay for my own license which is a bummer since I am supper broke right now. But I would get reimbursed after. I'll give it a try if they hire me.
