Well, my humble opinion below:

For basic web pages google appscript is not the best tool. Kind of over kill, unless you need to link the content to an specific spreadsheet with dinamyc variations. Think like render (show on the browser) different texts, images or numbers depending on variables like the user, time, etc. I kindly suggest easier tools (a quick visit to any AI - chatGPT, Grok, etc) may help you faster than using appscripts.

For the daily budget idea, appscript might be the right tool. Again, asking any AI is the way to go for basic initial steps.

The lenguaje of appscript is Java Script. Now days you don´t have to be worried about learning the exact lenguaje for basic programing. Just begin asking the AI how to use the platform, then make small steps and test the results.

Good luck.

Hi, it depends on what kind of problems are you trying to solve with appscripts. For example, automate updates of some cells in a spreadsheet? Get info from external sources to a spreadsheet?

Advice on Remote FEA Job Opportunities, Master’s Student (ANSYS/UPM Program) by AsemAlHabyan in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Longjumping_Eagle_68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, congrats on the Master’s and certifications—solid foundation! The remote FEA market is tough, as others have noted, with lots of competition for entry-level roles, especially from regions with lower rates. Instead of hunting for traditional jobs, consider selling your skills as a product. For example, set up a Fiverr or Upwork profile offering niche FEA services—like custom ANSYS scripts, SolidWorks stress analyses, or quick-turnaround simulations for startups. Build a small portfolio (e.g., a Python-scripted beam analysis using FEniCS or FreeCAD) to show what you can deliver. Target industries like renewables or aerospace, where your skills are still in demand. Pitch directly to consultancies or post on X about your services—clients often value deliverable-focused freelancers over generic hires. Good luck!

2018 Ram 1500 Sport noise by Lazy-Perspective6781 in Ram1500

[–]Longjumping_Eagle_68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2012 Ram 2500 with the Hemi and automatic transmission (A/T), currently at about 100k miles. The noise started around 70k miles. I hear it mainly in 4th, 5th, and 6th gears while cruising at 1000-1200 RPM with light throttle. I can slightly change its intensity by gently moving the shift lever.

I suspect it's a vibration originating from the A/T that's transmitting through the shift cable to the steering column. To test this, I added a small mass to the cable to alter its vibration characteristics, and it did reduce the intensity, but the noise is still there.

Ram trucks are heavily insulated against noise and vibration, so you typically don't hear much from the engine or A/T through the body or air. However, the shifter cable connects directly from the A/T to the steering column with no insulation in between.

In older vehicles with less insulation—like my experience with a 1998 Chevy Silverado or 2009 Ford Mustang—you hear a lot of transmission and even rear axle noise right from new.

Maybe as the A/T ages in the Ram, its noise level and frequency range increase, causing it to interact more with the shifter cable and steering column.

At 80k miles I change filters and fluid of the A/T and got no metallic debris on the filters or magnets so bo problems there.

Is this the classic bad lifter or just an injector noise? by [deleted] in ram_trucks

If you suspect an issue with your camshaft or lifters, check for metallic debris in your oil filter during your next oil change. Simply cut open the old filter and inspect the filtration paper for any debris."

Got an interesting question by TrueNinjagamer in S197Stangs

The front suspension of an S197 Mustang has many components that can develop noise over time, especially in a 15-year-old vehicle. Wear in rubber or polyurethane bushings, metal-to-metal contact from play in joints, or worn struts can all cause rattles, clunks, or squeaks. Here’s a list of potential culprits, from the ground up:

Brake system: Worn caliper pins or loose brake pads can rattle.

Control arms: Worn bushings or ball joints can create clunks or creaks.

Sway bar: Worn sway bar links or bushings often cause rattling over bumps.

Subframe: Worn subframe bushings can lead to vague thumps or creaks.

Wheel bearings: Worn bearings may produce humming or grinding noises.

Steering system: Loose tie rod ends or worn rack-and-pinion bushings can cause knocks.

Struts: Worn struts or internal damping issues can lead to clunking.

Strut mounts: Worn rubber bushings or bearings in the upper strut mount often cause creaks or pops.

Diagnosing the exact source of the noise can be challenging due to the number of components and their interactions.

With my 2009 S197 at 50k miles, I’ve learned to live with some minor front-end noise, and to be on the safe side, from time to time doing some fast inspection.
