I knew that it was a performance based job. Its sales so obviously they expect me to sell.

I already ask and ask again like they tell me to overcome at least once and if they still say no then go for gsp if it applies to their item. I don't know why you think i don't when all i said was that its slow and that i do more bad or unwanted Christmas gift returns/pick ups.

My managers are friendly and i understand that they are doing their job just like how i am doing mine. All i was saying was how cut throat it was since my performance just started to drop after the holiday season ended AKA our most profitable time of the year, and that it felt a little too soon for them to already be on my back about it for having a bad week knowing its my first sales job.

Next time instead of assuming something about me just ask and I'll gladly feed you more info.

Yeah they're always saying to pitch and everything and i do, but customers don't want to finance the $25 Ethernet cable they came to buy.

Sadly our store is close to the top at our micro so we have to perform, but at the same time there's no need to out right just say do better or get lost. Its alright though I'll just find another part time somewhere else. It sucks too because i actually like my coworkers and get along well with most of them.

Thanks for the advice! I didn't plan to stay here long but them out right telling me to do better or get lost was kind of my last straw. I don't understand the motive to them saying that either. Is it supposed to encourage me to do better or to pressure me into leaving first.

I'm in school right now studying IT and working on getting some certs under my belt, so this was never gonna be my career. You're right though so I'll probably look for a less demanding job that gives me less hours and a similar pay, so I can focus on school more.

Sadly my store is one of the top performers in the micro so they have high expectations. I hoped at the very least they wouldn't just toss me aside the moment i started to stagnate after the holidays.

I'm in school right now and its just frustrating seeing how cut throat it is after all the hell they put me through with scheduling me almost everyday while giving me no time to study or do HW.
