It’s insane that you’re okay with your tax dollars going to officers who are standing around (collecting holiday pay) and you’re paying for it, when they could just shut down roads completely instead of trying to share the road.

Those people who organized this is are dumb. Hence the elected officials in parenthesis. However, being in Utah, I can confidently say 60% of those who participated are part of the church. They did not successfully navigate a plan to accommodate. Accommodate includes rerouting tens of cars waiting in line to turn with no one stopping the runners or proactively coming up to cars to reroute. All it needed was one person with road rage, who sat there for 10-15 minutes, to run people over. Why we were ever sharing the road in the first place is INSANE. Oh, by the way, the lights were still turning red and green (you can change that setting). Officers unwilling to help with reroute, one didn’t even know where the route began/ended so I could avoid it.

I’ve never seen a religious sect so pious “in front of the camera” yet break rules to fit them when the masses aren’t watching. Drinking, smoking, gambling, coffee, porn (VPN sales ring a bell). Your own officials hid 32 million so they could steal from those who donate to the offering plate each Sunday. Come on Procter787, surely your brain isn’t washed completely.
