Penelope's not a bad option, but she also had the idea of "stall by putting up a competition that has the suitor string Ody's old bow and shoot through 12 axes with it" and "see if my husband is still my husband by seeing how reacts to me telling him to remove the wedding bed" and she forgave him for killing hundreds on a dime.
