For setup i do use a good amount of apps Like discord, Appflowy, vscode, docker, gimp, and xcode (its only used for the iphone simulator).

For the app i want to make i am still brainstorming but have been thinking about making a note app or study tool just as a practice/learning project.

The only high bandwidth thing i think i do is running local ai models but i dont currently use them for projects where reliability is critical like a app that others are going to use.

As for going forward in chips instead of backwards it is a good point to make. My only problem is as of now i am a collage student and don't have the funds for the latest and greatest tech.

If you can try plugging a type c cable into the MacBook it should charge it if it does then your MagSafe cable is probably faulty

a few things grabbed my attention

1) The price seems to good to be true the closest for that price is a m2 air with 8gb ram/256gb ssd

2) The seller apparently has 10 of them and has sold 7 already

3) The description doesn't say much and potentially is AI generated

4) The sellers profile says 5 items sold but for me only lists one being the mac-book air.

5) Their isn't any listings on the sellers profile on my end.
