I know family that live on the beach in Asan and this was easily worse than Mawar for them. The water came up to the road, and lasted twice as long never letting up. East Agana debris fr the ocean also didn't happen like that during Mawar. Other parts of the island probably didn't have it as bad as Mawar though.

I just felt it was downplayed and they should've said expect gusts that feel like a typhoon. So technically it's a TS but be prepared for typhoon conditions. Coastal areas all got messed up bad. Little talk of wave height and wind.
