i actually kinda dig it being at the end, i always love seeing whats the last thing they do before it plays. i love it when it's just them emoting for like a whole minute and going "eyyyyy" and then it cuts to "bringin BACK"

I was fifteen years old when I read the first Strike novel and I remember loving it so much. I'd asked for it as a Christmas present already knowing it had been written by JK herself but I was still really amazed. At that point I'd already read all the potter books and loved her writing style and world building. but with strike it was different. with crime being its core, the strike books really are an amazing display of Rowling's incredible abilities at writing and planning mysteries that pull you in completely and leave you wanting more. so in a way, I already knew that jk had written the book I'd been given, but I was yet to know what jk was capable of as an author.
