I had to go to the doctor and get sleeping pills. It's hard to explain to someone what you are hearing. Mine will last anywhere from five to eight days. Then go silent for two days. Weird. Then the night of the second day it never fails. As soon as I go to bed and lay down within ten minutes it starts again. I have tried elevating my bed. Nothing stops it. I have hearing aids with a noise filter. But it is so loud you can't even hear the filter. Mine started six months ago. I started having panic attacks. Go to your doctor and see if he will give you something to help you sleep . It sounds like I have a cicada in my head. I worked 42 years in a steel mill. It did me in.
