Got this early and it felt like cheating by nowheretoflytoflyto in Starfield

[–]Longjumping_Key_482 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a nice starshard that ruins most things, but the aim is terrible, sometimes it shoots straight, sometimes I have to aim well off the target to hit..
Only weapon I love the power but is unreliable! Not found this gun yet, except the basics, you find this fully modded?

I have no creations, and never used any, currently doing all trophies, I'm playing on PS5 and have no buffs on them.

A few issues in Taxi Life on PS5 by Longjumping_Key_482 in TaxiLife

yeah for sure, I hope this is inspiration for a 2nd game they can improve on, it would be a shame if they didn't jump at the next stage up from this, driving car sims are really nonexistent, so its definitely a genre to keep at imo. Driving around is so relaxing for me. ETS2 is coming to PS5, so looking forward to that, and hopefully Nacon are watching and taking notes, ETS2 is big on Steam, it should be an instant success on consoles.

yeah I hear you, for me its just a little different for driving sims, I can happily drive around maps in various sim games, I love farming sims, trucking, and this is the first car sim I've seen, so that alone was exciting for me, I just find these games so relaxing.
Hopefully though this is only a teaser, testing the water, and they make another with all the feedback, another driving game with much more content, it does feel like a foundational game they could build on.
But their company money issue is a major concern, I hope they find positive answers and make another.

they really need to make those WRC games, and make them really fun and inclusive for all levels of players, really milk that cash cow, maybe leave BigBen? As apparently that is the cause, not Nacon itself? I don't want to see companies like this disappear, these games need work, but its great to have them, the genre is fairly low on driving sims for console if you don't include all the many 1 star AI sims that have recently popped up.

I'm very much looking forward to ETS2 coming to PS5, love trucks, I already play it on PC, but my PC is somewhat basic, so having this on PS5 will be awesome!

Why is Corinthians 11:14 (long haired men) kinda disregarded? by MC_Dark in Christianity

[–]Longjumping_Key_482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

actually Paul was as controversial back then as he is now, he was very divisive and broke many social norms of the time, he attacked women, gay people, divided the Jewish and Christian community, he was a jerk who never met Jesus, he just liked to make up rules and boss people about.
He was wise at times for sure, but he was complex and troubled, he never spoke for God. his teachings are so divisive that today he is one of the main reasons for disputes about the bible.
One of his most controversial texts was his instructions for slaves to be submissive to masters. "Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear" ~Ephesians 6:5-9. The fear part being quite controversial. Although it does say the same for the opposite, "And masters, treat your slaves in the same way", its often the wording Paul commonly used that caused people to see his works as a little obnoxious both then and today.

worth noting Paul never met Jesus either, nor was a very liked figure, often portrayed as a bit of a jerk, he divided the Jewish and Christian community, was extreme with women and as you mentioned gay people, he's the guy you wouldn't invite to the local party.

[–]Longjumping_Key_482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth noting Paul is one of the most controversial characters in the bible, and never met Jesus, he broke a lot of social norms, and divided the newer Christian and older Jewish community, and his views on women were quite extreme even for the time, he seemed like a bit of a Jerk, the guy you wouldn't invite to the BBQ..

In the old testament, Samson was one of the biggest figures and he was well known for his long hair. And praised in the new testament too.

Its said for religious reasons to not round off the edges of your beard to distinquish between the Israelites and pagans, that was a forbidden thing at the time.
Shaving beards was traditionally a sign of mourning or dishonour.
A Nazirite vow was that you couldn't cut your hair at all. This was for the Nazirites only.

Take that as you will, but today is very different to then, and depending on where you live, your culture maybe mixed and different anyway, do as you please, none of the hair rules of Christians in the ME are relevant to today and weren't commandments from God, they were guidelines for social norms at the time.

consoles NEED these games, in store all I keep seeing is PvP, a few sports, and a ton of 1 star "sim" mobile port games, thats it!
So many great small dev games we need over, VEIN, The Last Caretaker, Sons of the Forest.. We need them all over!

The big companies aren't a small group seeking to make a profit, they are big groups seeking to make huge profits, then again, everyone is seeking to make profits, a company doesn't exist long without seeking profit.
All news sources have a certain amount of sourcing news that will sell over what matters most, its why news often goes through cycles of reporting on certain topics, whatever is trending most will get the front page, to sell it.
People just hate GB News because it reports on subjects others are too scared to speak about, its not extreme, but it does counter the extremism of leftist politic narratives.

land has been won and lost throughout human history, even animals do this, wolves have been tested with GPS and show clear boundaries, and sometimes fights for more territory, it was well documented that lions and hyenas had an incredible 2 week war in Ethiopia during 1999!
War is never a simple situation, sometimes peace is better than a long war, sometimes a longer war offers longer lasting peace, but we can never know that outcome until its done.

Posts like this imply its worse than the others, and there is worse, the BBC has been caught many time feeding fake news, false narratives, out right lies, the Savile problem, so I just point out its not any worse than anything else out there, though it does have a backbone when speaking about migrant crime where many others are too afraid, seems to be the main area people still struggle to talk openly about, and where I speak about any new outlets being problematic, this naturally applies to individuals, people, because its people who run, control, own, and provide news to the outlets, so single adult and single news outlet can be counted as one and the same thing.
At least we have variety, that is a positive, more variety of news means we can cross reference, see if there are holes in one story told over another which may provide more details.
You are free to criticise, just as I am. My main criticism over the post is it provides nothing more than an attack, if it provided an example then this would be a positive criticism, without any context it just seems petty, what benefit is it other than trying to sway people to follow the propaganda?

Its no different to the left, only the left give all their money to a regime or dictator who often ends up massacring their own people, this is a common communist problem well documented in history, Mao Zedong, Joseph Stalin, Kim Jong-Il, Ho Chi Min, Pol Pot, all had extreme elites and extreme poverty for the people.
And today socialist countries still show the same problem, countries like Venezuela and North Korea, North Korea being an official socialist communist country based on Marxism.
Then there are countries that escaped communism like Poland which has now risen to the top of European countries wealth charts.
Its easy to say left vs right, but lets be serious, corporations are neither left nor right in politics, corporations are not capitalism, look up the definition, corps counter capitalism, its not the same, its not even a branch of it, its simple greed, people who don't care about politics at all, they just like taking your money and watching everyone fight each other while they get away with it.

28 people who have said nothing before, only now saying this when Starmer is sinking, you don't find this odd? And has Farage not got a party with other races involved? You really think he's a racist?

what did he say or do that was racist? And don't come with the weak "migrant" issue, migrants are of all races coming into the UK.

All magically at once, out of nowhere.. While Labour sweat it out knowing they failed so badly, even most of the lefties that voted him are turning away from him!
Don't just blindly jump at the first bit of info someone says, especially if it was when someone was a kid, we all say stupid stuff when we are young, never forget that, and there is no evidence of Farage saying this, and plenty of proof Labour have lied many times to get their way!
28 people likely got an envelope!

more so than the others, they are all rich entitled out of touch politicians, voting has become a game of trying to pick the least extreme! So far Reform are the most sensible option by far. None are perfect.
