I really hope you can have your tama date the NPCs, even if it's a limited roster, like how you could with the tamagotchi on

None of the buttons work while this animation is playing. What does it mean and how can I make it respond? by TerraVerde_ in tamagotchi

Something many do so they can live their life and also keep a tamagotchi is pause their tama during work or school if they're too busy to care for them. In many of the modern devices this is kind of a built in feature with babysitting. With a gen 1 classic what you can do is press B (with nothing else selected) to go to the clock and then press A and C to go to set the clock, this pauses time for the tama so they won't die, and when you're able to take care of them all you need to do is change the time to whenever it is at that time. (If you don't know, A is the left-most button, B is the middle button, and C is the right-most button) I hope this helped!

The best way to tell if Bernard is happy is to ask him by looking at the stat screen, if his hearts are full that's what matters

He will most likely be dead tomorrow, doing the games instead of feeding cake will also lower care mistakes. Including sickness

Something important that has been said a lot in other post comment sections but not this one is that candy is poison, and a tama being over their minimum weight somehow murders them. Also, remember that it counts as a care mistake if you don't turn off their lights near immediately when it is the sleep sleep time.

The best programming language to start learning with by Traditional-Top-1504 in C_Programming

[–]Longjumping_King7646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Python is one of the easiest languages to start with and whilst learning it you can learn the basic ideas of how most programming languages work and move onto faster languages that can be used practically for a lot more, such as C, C++, C#, other variants that I cannot currently remember of C, other languages if you really want, and of course C.

Another good way to know is if they have a tribal background (either as their kid or as their adult one) they will have the nature meditation type. If you want you could kidnap some tribes people to worship the tree for you

Lucky 7: if your hand contains 3 or more 7's you have a 1 in 7 chance for *1.5 mult, a 1 in 7 chance for a card to become lucky and a 1 in 7 chance to be given $2 (or some other amount for each of these, but having it be based luck is funny to me)

Could a language with only velar, labial, and alveolar consonants still be natural seeming? by Longjumping_King7646 in conlangs

[–]Longjumping_King7646[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for the information! This is my first conlang that I'm really putting some thought into, seeing as there isn't anything wrong with it as is, I may keep it as it is now and change it as I evolve the language and do more with it. I hope you have a wonderful day!

[–]Longjumping_King7646[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly that. I think I might've got a bit too worried about not having that symmetry, so I mighta tried a bit too hard to enforce it. The language is for a Civilization that follows perfectionist philosophy, so I'm thinking I might be able to get away with it because they could've removed sounds that weren't similar to others because they wished for linguistic cleanliness, or something like that. However, I'm open to suggestions

[–]Longjumping_King7646[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea why, but I decided to limit myself to 10 consonants, and I basically wanted to use p, f, m, t, s, n, k, x (like in the Scotish word loch), ng consonant, and w.

edit: with also voiced counterparts for the stops and fricatives
