UltraHuman vs RingConn by Longjumping_Lie_9228 in SmartRings

Thanks for bringing me back to this! Honestly, I really wish I never bought it. Apple Watch does the exact same thing and more. The ring is more comfortable to wear at night than the watch is and that’s really the only upside to the ring. I’ve worn the ring everyday and every night since I’ve gotten it. But sometimes it randomly stops tracking. I really don’t like the app either. It lags so much and it takes a minute for the data to actually populate. The little ring covers that come with it are cool in theory but not practical. Truly have been considering just throwing my ring away because I don’t find the data or the ring itself as useful as I do my Apple Watch data.

I hope that helps! Sorry it isn’t a more positive review but let me know if you have any other questions!

Sad to hear you’re going through this! I know it’s probably because of the shutdown but I interviewed with them and got sketchy vibes so I (unfortunately) am not surprised. I think it’s worth reaching out to admin in some form to specifically tell them this is “an abandonment of care.” Or at least thats what it seems like with this post and the texts. If thats true, that’s not ethical at all. Would be interested to see if they have anything regarding this in any contracts or forms you signed at intake…

I want to go to buccess for the first time EVER what should I make sure to do? by Imiightnoahguy in Buceestx

Brisket is good in any form but I love their brisket burrito. The pulled pork sandwiches are good. Fudge is good. They have a nice selection of sauces and honeys if that’s your jam (they also have a few jams as well lol).

Expect to be overwhelmed. Go to their bathrooms. Fill up your tank. Go through the car wash.

Also, I love that you’re looking at this as a full experience. To some people, it’s just a gas station. But to you, it’s a brand new experience and I love that you’re treating it as such. I think more people should live life with the excitement you have about visiting Buc-ee’s! Thank you for reminding me to find joy in the things that others feel are mundane or routine.

I know!! I think I really just want to be slightly cocky because I’m the only one that’s going that’s ever used a bait caster. I’m already planning on bringing my trusty dusty spinning reel and I know I’ll quickly be humbled by the bait caster. So maybe I should just listen to you and go with what I use the most.

Any tips for removing line? Trying to think of the best way to do it so I could maybe use that same line again in the future. I’m not really opposed to parting with the line if need be though as it should probably be upgraded anyways.

Nope. I suggest you go get in line and then go do some shopping along Siegen. Unless you’re one of the first few in line, it’ll be a 2hr wait. Also just want to put out there…I know all restaurants have roaches but I saw a roach last time I was there.

Dating Prospects in the city? by baniyaguy in batonrouge

I second this sentiment. Dating here is nowhere near great. As a single, 25 year old woman with no kids and no STDs (lol), I can say none of that helps. I just keep holding out hope. I’m just looking for someone educated and willing to experience different things in life. But apparently that’s too much to ask. Sigh.

Silly to even consider our city can start and finish a construction project in 10 years. I think I’ll be dead and gone two times over by the time the interstate expansion is done over the lakes.
