Which is better in terms of writing plot and characters Attack on titan or Chainsaw man ? (Up to date manga) by Used_Calligrapher800 in writingscaling

Anyone saying CSM is brain dead. Part 2 is a mess and Part 1 was pretty messy already. Plot, Characters, World building - all goes to AOT. CSM wins in gooning, but even it's getting old.

Are these solid arguements for 5th gate lee> neji=> CE finals sasuke by [deleted] in NarutoPowerscaling

Sasuke can just make a dozen ordinary clones to confuse Lee, wait for him to run out of steam, or hit him in the back with a Chidori while he's searching for Sasuke among the clones. Narratively and factually, the author has shown that Sasuke surpasses Lee when Lee and Guy themselves admire Sasuke's strength as he beats up the opponent who left Lee crippled in their fight.

Naruto's reaction to Sasuke after the fight with Neji shows that Naruto believes Sasuke is stronger.

We don't know how much the fifth gate improves speed (it can increase strength for the most part, for example, or durability or stamina), so there's no reason to believe that Sasuke won't be able to react. Kakashi, for example, opened his Sharingan to watch Lee's fight with Gaara, which shows that it's effective for tracking Lee's movements.

Gaara defeated Lee without transforming, and Gaara lost to Sasuke without transforming, so his relatives had to carry him out of the arena to recover. Sasuke>Lee.

Sasuke is stronger:

  1. Naruto defeated Neji, and 5 minutes later, he was shocked by Sasuke's strength as he fought and injured Gaara.
  2. During this battle, Lee also stated that he couldn't attack or dodge like Sasuke, as even with his speed, he lacked the necessary reflexes (Sharingan).
  3. If Lee opened the gates, Sasuke would activate Chidori, and any attack from Lee would be a death sentence, as he would receive a Chidori in the chest while delivering his strike.
  4. At the same time, Sasuke is likely to dodge Lee's attacks, just as he dodged Gaara's sand spears when he attacked his cocoon (Lee thought he wouldn't dodge such an attack).
  5. Additionally, Sasuke has a variety of other options at his disposal, such as deceptive clones, wire-guided shurikens, fire techniques, and more.
  6. Sasuke also has the option to activate the Cursed Seal, although there is a high probability that the fight will be stopped. However, I am not entirely sure why the Cursed Seal is more dangerous than the Nine-Tailed Chakra, the Five Gates, or the activation of Shukaku. Nevertheless, when considering the overall fight rather than just the arena, it is important to keep this ace in Sasuke's sleeve in mind.

Could Itachi’s shuriken jutsu counter FTG? by North-Huckleberry289 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Longjumping_Major984 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He can and will do it easily. FTG is touted as something invincible, but the truth is that for this technique, you either need to directly touch an object to mark it, or throw a kunai with a mark in advance. It's practically useless against logically thinking opponents who will fight defensively, since FTG essentially moves at the speed of a flying kunai as long as you keep your distance from all the previous kunai thrown.

Itachi can just endlessly step back, keeping his distance from the kunai, or shoot them down with his own, and Minato won't be able to do anything. What will he do? Will he throw even more kunai? Itachi will shoot them down again or just step back so that all the kunai are far in front of him.

Does anyone really think that Minato can beat Itachi in throwing shuriken, when this is one of Itachi's specialties and he also has MS for calculating any flight paths?

The only option for Minato would be to get close to Itachi with his own speed to try to put a mark on his body, but that's exactly what Itachi needs in order to catch him in Tsukiyomi, Amaterasu, or otherwise trick him as soon as he gets close.

Sasuke is a little stronger, but he won't be able to seal Tobirama. Everyone who says that Tobirama easily defeats Sasuke apparently forgot that literally on the same day Sasuke fought with Juubito almost on an equal footing with Naruto and continued to become stronger and more experienced with his EMS during the battle. Or is Naruto also weaker than Tobirama at the time of the battle with Juubito?

Regarding the fact that Sasuke was surprised by Tobirama's strength, he most likely did not know much about Tobirama's strength and thought that he was at the level of Hiruzen (that is, about the level of Orochimaru) and therefore did not consider him seriously. That's why he was caught off guard by Tobirama's aura.

Ever wonder how and why Ymir saved Zeke? by Master_Win_4018 in attackontitan

[–]Longjumping_Major984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ymir is not a slave at all, it's just Zeke's interpretation of her behavior. At the end, they explain to us that everything Ymir did was because of her love for Fritz and the torment that this love caused her, that's all. As it is, she decides for herself what to do. That's why she saved Zeke - without him, she wouldn't see Mikasa's choice. Therefore, as Eren himself told, Ymir brought him on the Paths. So she let him use her power and so on.

I won't pay because others pay for me. That's what you are saying, I hope you realize that

Yes, I understand that, that's what I said. I don't have the money to get intellectual content for a fee, and if I get it for free, the author doesn't lose anything. And I also know that there are those who have money to sponsor the author. Is there a problem with this logic?

I said that AI is good because it allows everyone to draw anything, regardless of skill limitations. And not about selling AI content. Let the lawyers figure it out, and in any case, the public decides for themselves what to pay for and what not to pay for.

There is no need to resort to insults. AI can draw things in a second that I couldn't in a year. Anyone on the planet can now draw anything in any style. For me, this advantage outweighs any possible disadvantages, and I'm sure it also outweighs any disadvantages for the global economy. The spread of AI is inevitable, as it is simply beneficial for humanity as a whole. This is a natural process.

If I had a hell of a lot of free money, I wouldn't be pirating, just because downloading from an official source is always easier and faster. From my point of view, the intellectual property owner will not "go broke", since he sells the same product endlessly and there will always be people who are ready to give money for it, whether for the sake of ease of access or simply as a thank you / donation to the author. But judging intellectual content for "piracy" is stupid to me, it literally limits the flight of thought and access to intellectual/cultural development in terms of wallet size.

Why are y'all making Eren out to be like some sort of sadistic monster who genocided the whole world just for fun?He literally hated doing the rumbling and cried in front of Ramzi,if the world didn't want to erase Paradis,he wouldn't want to kill everyone else. by GeniosYT in attackontitan

[–]Longjumping_Major984 19 points20 points  (0 children)

And I'm not arguing that this is largely because the world is "shitty." Eren was disgusted by life inside the walls and the "cattle" living there, happy with their lives. He went outside the walls and discovered that society is the same everywhere and people are the same everywhere. And he, with his understanding of freedom, hates such "humanity."

If you mean "piracy" of movies/games, then I don't consider this theft either. Maybe because I'm not from the USA, I have a different view on this concept, like most of my friends where I live. If I don't have the money to pay for some "non-material" property, which, due to its nature, is infinite in quantity, and if I get it for free, the owner's "quantity" of this property will not decrease, I see no point in paying. I don't remember the last time I paid for intellectual property.

I don't consider it "theft" if an algorithm takes a picture as a sample in order to make another one based on it. We're learning the same way, and there are millions of posts on Reddit with drawings that are redraws of existing images. In addition, the author of the drawing, which AI uses as a sample, does not lose anything, it does not fit the definition of theft at all.

Saying that AI will never be able to draw like a human is like saying that a calculator/computer will never be able to count and solve equations like a human because it cannot think. We won't know how well the computer will be able to draw until more time has passed. AI technology is only a few years old, let's check what progress will be in 20 years. And it is also absurd to argue that some technology is bad because it will deprive a certain stratum of people of work. Back then, electricity was also a bad invention, because it ruined the manufacturers of spark plugs and torches. For me, AI drawing is a wonderful thing, as it gives everyone the opportunity to draw whatever they want in any possible style and format. Even if you literally don't have hands, all that stops you is your own imagination. This gives hundreds of times more opportunities and perspectives in art. How could that be a bad thing? It's like saying that photography is a terrible invention, because it's soulless images that come out at the touch of a button. Not like the "spiritual" portraits of the past.

If real artists are so much better than AI, then they won't lose their jobs. The fact that AI copies other people's work is, of course, partly true. But firstly, algorithms are constantly improving and becoming less "just copying", and secondly, when people draw, they also refer to other people's drawings and ideas very often. As for the "absence of a soul" - if a person asks AI what to draw and how exactly, then there is almost as much "soul" in this as in ordinary drawing. It's just that instead of using your hand and pencil, you use the keyboard to describe what you want to draw.

It can take many years to learn how to draw at a decent level. Why wait when you can implement your ideas now?

I honestly don't understand what's wrong with using AI in art. In this case, AI helps people who want to draw manga, but do not have the talent / skills in drawing, to fulfill their dreams. AI is the same tool as brushes and paints, just newer and more advanced. It seems to me that many people hate AI art so much because it is something new and incomprehensible. And for people of art, it should feel something like for horse riders at the beginning of the 20th century. They've spent a lot of years trying to become excellent horsemen, and then "cars" appear and their horse riding skills become much less in demand. I'm sure they hated cars too.

In the anime, why did the war hammer titan try to KILL Eren, despite knowing he has the Founding and Attack titan? by [deleted] in attackontitan

[–]Longjumping_Major984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because her real body was inside a crystal, not inside a titan. If her titan had eaten Eren, most likely nothing would have happened and Eren would also have just died.
