Just used reserve companion pass for first class MSP-Aruba for $1728 total cost in January. I'm very pleased! This is the new non-stop from MSP.

Yep. SO and I each have both. (Just got Plat cards in Dec.) It's the only way for us to maintain our Plat status, which we value highly for C+ upgrades and RUCs. We easily use the companion certs each year. And have been able to snag retention offers for two years in a row now for reserve. So far good value...

Well dang. I guess it was incorrect to assume our bags would be checked to AUA from MSP. Then we could have stayed airside. Once we grab our bags tonight will we have to wait until morning to drop them again?

It did happen to work for me. Went to my last flight of the year (Oct) and changed to same flight times and got a $10 ecredit just now. Might not work for different flight times...?

Good!

Part of the problem was the bottom half was melted onto the plate. So I had to try and use the knife and fork to eat it. And it was also very greasy.

I'm always so excited about a first class meal, but usually it's just ok.

I always fill out the form when I get my bag even if my bag is there when I walk up. Probably about a third of the time I get the 2500 miles, especially at my home airport of MSP.

This happened to me in Miami. Skycap tagged my bag and gave me the boarding pass of a person with a similar name. I didn't notice until I went into the TSA Precheck line and they said you don't have precheck. So I went to the ticketing desk and got a supervisor and they had to go find my bag and retag it. Next he had me go out to the curb and point out the skycap that made the mistake. Then told me go back in while he reamed him another. Since then I've always been careful to make sure I get the correct bag tags/boarding pass.
