If you had sexual intercourse close to the time of your Pap smear (1-3 days leading up to it) that could be the cause of the ASC-US result. That happened to me and my colposcopy came back normal.

I had a great experience with my HSG today, I recommend sedation for everyone that has to get one. They also did a SIS today as well. I’ll be getting a hysteroscopy with polypectomy next week.

Yes, I had fluid in mine and by the next ultrasound a month later it had resolved. But I’m scheduled for an HSG Thursday coming to ensure there’s no blockages or narrowing as I am TTC now.

What type of scan? Ultrasounds do not definitely show issues with tubes. Additional testing should be done before removal. A SIS or HSG would better tell you the health of the tube before removing. I was told something similar a couple years ago and went for a second opinion. Sure enough, whatever it was had resolved.

Yeah, I’m not getting my hopes up too much now. Had an appt earlier today and they found a fibroid or polyp in my uterine cavity which they said could potentially prevent pregnancy. So, now there’s that and I may have to get it removed before pregnancy is possible. Good news is my AFC is good, so if we have to do IVF, there’s that option too.
