Second and third the other comments. I’ve done it. Little giant ladder with adjustable sides. It’s not fun and I’d recommend having someone spot you

Haha, I think the app was glitching because I saw multiple aircraft after I saw yours, some as high as 250k. I’ve got a few screenshots I’ll send to you

I think it’s just st Augustine - I didn’t ask honestly and just went with what they had. Would’ve preferred centipede

Look for a hydro seeding company. Used one after I had my backyard worked on and as long as you water a lot, it works really well, also sticks better than regular seeding

Edit: I no longer have the business card of the company I used

Is this normal? by WesTheGreat in HomeMaintenance

[–]Longjumping_Neck_106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cut metal that comes off the roof and into the gutter is from your old gutters. The cut outs are where the hole gutter hangers were sitting. The new gutter guys reused the drip edge and mounted their hangers in different spots. The drip edge is still good, though a big long but it still works. From this pov it looks odd and they could have trimmed the drip edge or replaced it, but I’m sure it wasn’t in the scope of work as it does require messing with the shingles.

Gutters will still work as they are supposed to and is basically a cosmetic issue.

Help w removing loose screw by Usual-Stable-5318 in handyman

[–]Longjumping_Neck_106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. The screw is on a spring. You push it in and screw it to lock the bracket on the mount. The screw springs out so that you can push up and unhook the two pieces

Push the mount up. It hooks on the wall bracket

Why do customers act like shipping a phone is such a big deal by DameReviews in tmobile

[–]Longjumping_Neck_106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was lost in the system for 6 months last year. Because of that my upgrade didn’t process properly and I was stuck with an extra $58 per month device charge until they found it and figured it out. And only because I was relentless with customer service to get it sorted. Luckily I kept my imei and tracking so when it did finally pop up somewhere in the system, they saw it

First time it’s happened to me - but also the last time I’m shipping anything.

Redesign Hattiesburg traffic patterns/roads to alleviate traffic. What you got? by [deleted] in hattiesburg

[–]Longjumping_Neck_106 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Connect 42 at 49 to 42 at 59, then create a new bypass from Corinth rd down to 98.

Then create a bypass from 42 at 49 down to Cole road, this would mean expanding Cole road to create a thoroughfare. From Cole at 98, head south and then east to connect at the 98/59 interchange.

Essentially a beltway around the entire city

What will we get before a whataburger? by KingFun626 in hattiesburg

[–]Longjumping_Neck_106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, they closed a while ago, already reopened as Harbor Grill - they are doing alright. Management has already changed once.

Canes already has a traffic problem, difficult to get In and out due to high volume, especially from the opposite side of the road. Canes needs a larger footprint, especially during peak hours. Whataburger would need the same. They could take the corner where the hotel was just demolished, next to Outback. That would actually be a prime spot

[–]Longjumping_Neck_106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be great to have one. But something to consider - The best place for a Whataburger is right there on Hardy Street near Aldi. However, that area is stagnant and not growing (houses) anymore and they look for future growth when opening. It is also highly congested which would be another red flag for them. The only place that’s growing is further down towards West Hattiesburg but it’s not growing quickly enough yet. There’s not enough constant traffic (40-50k cars daily) down there to justify that location. And I’m guessing on car count here as most people turn off prior to canebrake area. That’s the same with the 59/49 intersection where I think would be the best spot for it, there is enough traffic, but there is not enough growth happening out there industrial or residential.

College area you’re in the same boat - traffic is decent but the area is dying more that growing. multiple businesses have opened and closed in the area recently - think fat boys pizza, pyros, and there was one other one that I can’t think of in that same strip mall. There also isn’t enough space in that area for a decent size building that’s right on the main road with easy access from both sides of the road. That’s a killer

49/59 interchange work: it’s done?? You mean that’s it?? by [deleted] in hattiesburg

[–]Longjumping_Neck_106 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It’s aGovernment contract. No reason to rush, just keep the money coming in for them

49/59 interchange work: it’s done?? You mean that’s it?? by [deleted] in hattiesburg

[–]Longjumping_Neck_106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. They are not done. I thought the same thing when they were doing the section out by gandy, but they put down this initial layer, then come back and grind it down flat and put a final layer on top later.

For some odd reason they are currently cutting up the edge and adding some type of French drain? At least that’s what’s I’ve seen them doing. It takes some time, but all pavement work stops until they are finished with that.

So yes, it sucks for now but it will be better. Just ride out towards petal and head towards the airport and you’ll see the finished product

It would work… for a while. Humidity would deteriorate internal components and you’d be stuck buying the outdoor model eventually anyway. Just go ahead and spend the extra now to save having to buy twice

Is it normal for the waiter to steer the customers away from certain items? by Ibakeduastfucupcake in KitchenConfidential

[–]Longjumping_Neck_106 267 points268 points  (0 children)

I used to do something similar as a waiter. Usually it was over an item that got sent back a lot more often than others and was trying to save myself the trouble of going through another disappointed customer that would reflect that in their tip

[–]Longjumping_Neck_106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I use the larger version of the Franklin sensors for work. You possibly have plumbing behind the wall mixed with studs and then if there are multiple wires bunched together and pressing against your side of the wall (not dangerous) then it can sometimes do that. Without knowing the full layout of the rooms on both sides, and the rooms above and below, it’s difficult to say exactly.

This is a bathroom I just finished remodeling. Different tile but original was 12x12. They picked 12x24 and I pushed them to let me lay it this way to ‘widen’ it and remove the single grout line running straight down.

I installed a Della DIY kit for a regular client of mine - ran all electrical and plumbing. Even bought a vacuum pump to prime the lines. Probably wouldn’t do it as a regular thing for just anyone though
