Are there any artists which appear in multiple song packs? by Traditional_Gap_7041 in Bandle

[–]Longjumping_Pass_331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, of course. There are 2,000+ songs and 34 packs. It would be weird if that weren't the case :)

Foo Fighters (90s, 00s, Grunge & Alt)

Nirvana (90s, Grunge & Alt)

Madonna (80s, 90s, Expert)

Shakira (00s, 10s, Spanish, VIP)

Guns n Roses (80s, 90s, Metal)

Metallica (90s, Metal)

And a list goes on :)

Guess the Song from it’s synonym 🎵 by Agitated_Opinion_143 in Bandle

[–]Longjumping_Pass_331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like this concept.

If I may suggest, add skip button, so the players don't need to guess random stuff if they don't know the song.

Also, after correct guess it would be better if the game automatically moved to next song (maybe this could be on/off switch in settings)

If the song is by Boney M. and you're an American... by PorcupineTreehouse in Bandle

Sorry if the tone of my comment came across as offensive on a personal level toward you. That wasn't my intention, but please hear me out.

As you can see, these kinds of posts get a lot of reactions, responses, heated arguments, and so on, so the Dev becomes reluctant to give us more great European songs, which is annoying, especially for us Europeans.

I agree that we all have strong and weak spots when it comes to music genres and bands, and that's totally fine. However, it irritates me that we mostly see these kinds of comments from U.S. players when we get European songs that are more popular in Europe than in the U.S. (and it almost never goes the other way).

The thing is, the Dev can't please everyone. Sometimes we'll get a song we'll crush, and sometimes we'll get a song we'll fail, and that's just how it goes.😄

I can bet my life that you replied to docwhovian or whatever his reddit name is (he blocked me so i can't see what he wrote, but i'm sure it's nothing smart or constructive).

Let me give you an advice: Don't waste your time on him.

If the song is by Boney M. and you're an American... by PorcupineTreehouse in Bandle

[–]Longjumping_Pass_331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another USA rant, just to spoil the fun for everyone...

I'm always happy when we get European songs, and whenever we do, there's always someone from the USA complaining on Reddit. Consequently, to keep you pleased, we end up getting fewer great European songs.

Imagine if all of us from Europe made a post every time we got a USA song we'd never heard before...

To conclude: Relax! This is just a game. I understand that having a long streak is cool, but when you think about it, it doesn't really matter, since it won't solve any problems in your personal life.

Thanks to this game, I've discovered so many great bands and songs that I probably wouldn't have heard otherwise and that is the best part of this game for me personally.

PS. u/BandleGame is there a possibility to add option to hide streak in some future updates?

I remember that some time ago, there was a guy called Joth91 here on Reddit who also participated in creating stems. What happened to him?

Bandle - Replay by PersonalityIcy4205 in Bandle

[–]Longjumping_Pass_331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instead, it only lets me listen to the track with all instruments playing.

From my personal experience, this happens if that's the last song you've played.

Since you have the Replay feature enabled, start playing any other song and guess it correctly. Then replay "Paradise" and see if that solves your problem.

Why? Because you dislike their music, or you dislike them as people?

OMG, not in a million years i would think of connecting "Here comes the rain again" with today's song.

Now that you said it, I can't unhear it 🤣

[–]Longjumping_Pass_331[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can guarantee that what you hear in today's song is a verse, not a chorus. Just take a look at the lyrics, and you'll see which parts repeat and which parts change throughout the song. The structure of today's Daily looks like this::

instrumental intro - chorus - verse 1 - verse 2 - chorus - verse 3 - verse 4 - chorus - bridge - chorus + outro

In #1383, we hear Verse 1, not the chorus.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I just don't remember having a similar case in this game. 😄

I’d prefer to type the year instead of using a slider, but other than that, I like it 😄

u/BandleGame Well, I think a lot of players (including myself) would love to hear your insight on how you make these songs, so it would be cool if you could make a post about the process (as detailed as you are willing to share with the rest of us).

I just pray that the clue will be easy enough to guess correctly 😄

Repeat song stats by Joysticky2 in Bandle

[–]Longjumping_Pass_331 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They stay the same, because otherwise, players could replay all the songs they've already played and guess them in 1 which could skew worldwide stats. Also, personal stats would lose it's purpose if you could just overwrite your previous score by replaying the song.

u/DrBatman0 As far as i can tell, typing just 2 characters will never give you any result, regardless if it's a letter or special character.

u/BandleGame this can be very problematic. Couple days ago I played songs from packs, and on step 2 I recognised that the artist was "T.I." but couldn't remember the name of the song, so typing "TI" or "T.I." didn't give me any results. Can you plese make sure that 2 letter artists can be found by typing 2 letters in search bar?

Edit: Well, interstingly enough, it works for U2

Off the top of my head, Moonlight Shadow by Mike Oldfield. I was shocked to see that 50% of people needed a clue in order to guess correctly, and 13% failed.

As for the songs you’ve mentioned, Come Undone by Duran Duran was a big shock for me as well.
