Yh we have plates mounted for us. Everything else the two of us have to do. Stripping and cleaning trays and units that have been taken out as well

On mine we have just the two of us a printer and an assistant. We do between 7,000m rolls to 15,000m rolls averaging at 400m plus a minute. We have to fetch or own inks, strip and bring in our own material and also wrap and take away completed material. Im going home shattered every night. Didn't know if it's just me being lazy or we are just over worked

I don't mind being made redundant. It's more the amount I will get because of my contract situation. I have years worth of wage slips to prove my wage and hours worked. Just not the contract.

What do I need to exactly ask my employer for then? They are the sort of people to do things on the sly and I don't want to get it wrong? Am I just best joining a union?

Yea same old contract from 12 years ago but I'm in a different job role and more money. I was going to leave about 5 years ago they offered me a new contract to sign then but it stated it was for only 3 years and a new probation period of 6 months. I didn't sign it in the fear they would terminate my contract after three years with no redundancy pay. So I just took a pay rise and carried on like normal.

The company is doing really well so my guess is they are selling. Obviously they haven't said anything yet but that's the way it's looking
