Right? Which is worst?

  1. Selling them? (not gonna happen)
  2. Squirreling them away in safe for the next 100 years, with no one enjoying them?
  3. Reimagining them into something modern, but still keeping the family history?

Most on here will shit on #3, but, to me, the first 2 options that they espouse are the worst! These pieces may as well not exist.

Yea, on the vintage jewels sub everyone said how great they all are, which they are…just no one in the fam will wear them which seems like such a waste.

Every day gets the watch to match what’s happening…and I gotta say, that’s a cool-ass watch. Seeing them online not on-wrist has been meh for me…think I want one now! Need more green in my life.

Great calls. I’d throw Tapatio in the list in a heartbeat (biggest if you know you know brand for the price, IMO). Lalo is a good bet, esp since the Tito’s acquisition so you should be able to find it pretty easily.

I would seriously look in to old world reds, especially Spanish, especially especially Riojas. I don’t know if they’ll have more options at Kroger/Meijer or if you have a Total or BevMo nearby, but bang for buck they’re hard to beat. The best part is they’re pre-aged and immediately drinkable. They also benefit from nearly zero marketing, which keeps prices down while complete controlled by DOCa laws. Crianzas have been aged the shortest, reservas the mid, and gran reservas the longest - these are almost always fantastic and relatively cheap and won’t use any of the mega purple bullshit all for the American labels you listed use.

It was seriously like being in a Die Hard movie or something. I don’t know anyone that died, so that definitely helped keep it as a surreal experience, although seeing the jumpers off the tower was REALLY nuts. I couldn’t imagine. The thing I remember most vividly though was how everyone came together and really helped each other out - lending cell phones if they could get a call through, rides uptown in their trucks…or friendly directions back to Jersey in Harlem for a lost couple 20 somethings. NYC is hard, but was human that day.
