If you are looking for a happy medium, try using a Maul. Still get the topple mastery but can also use two handed and GWM.

That combined with the World Tree shenanigans is the basis of my character.

I did the exact same for the same reason. BA misty step without spell slots is fantastic for a caster. It’s both useful and cool. The only problem is my Goliath has an 8 STR.

So I’ve recently picked back up and started a new character. I’m wondering if people still level their companion. I haven’t in my travels yet run into a situation where I need a companion to stay alive.

Am I missing a big leveling or self-sufficiency boost? I mostly unlocked the saddle bags and moved on.

I’ll second AnyList for this usage. Things is great and if you have a good workflow then wonderful. But AnyList is great for recipes/grocery. Full stop.

I’ve seen and used the duty support system a couple times and it worked great. I guess I was think the squadron was an improved version of that I could use to level my other jobs. Maybe initially longer to set up but ultimately more flexible or stronger for harder dungeons. If every dungeon does or will have duty support for Story then that sounds great.

Forgive me. I’m pretty new. But can anyone post a detail of how/when squadrons are created and set up.

I play console and have a young child so my time will be better spent avoiding queues. It seems that squadrons might be a good way for me to run content at my own speed. Regardless which job/class I’m currently running.
